"By the way, you seem quite surprised that I ended up here, what’s the situation?" Peter Brown remembered his first encounter with Ollie Morris.

Upon hearing Peter’s inquiry, Ollie Morris said, "In fact, every power controls several Mortal Realms, and each Mortal Realm has numerous Star Planets, something you should know."

Peter slightly nodded and said, "What’s the difference?"

"Most people arrive in the Mortal Realm without consciousness and naturally face no restrictions, but there are also those like me who enter with awareness. This can severely impact the evolution and development of the humans on that planet, so restrictions become necessary."

Peter nodded and said, "Rapid human evolution isn’t a good thing for the planet?"

"Correct, many planets have been destroyed by the too rapid evolution of human species. If a visitor hasn’t accumulated enough Achievement points and humans are destroyed, it spells disaster for the visitor too. Just like me—if the humans on this planet were to suddenly perish, what chance would I have of achieving anything? I would quickly die, and that would be a true death."

There were such things!

Peter could understand; if there were several conscious beings on a planet, they’d naturally impart too much advanced knowledge for their own Achievement points, speeding up the planet’s development dramatically, which indeed could harm the visitors.

"We had a senior who went to a planet where five conscious individuals were competing. They all brought out their most awesome techniques, and the humans there unleashed something called ’Cores,’ wiping out all humanity on the planet, and they didn’t survive either. Since then, there’s an unspoken rule in the Immortal Realm: no more than three conscious individuals should be on any given planet. What I know is there are already three people on this Star Planet!"

"There are other people?"

Peter was again taken aback.

Pointing towards the ocean, Ollie Morris said, "You don’t have to worry; the other two are in the sea, they are from the Demon Clan’s Immortals."

"Demon Immortals?"

Peter turned to look at Ollie Morris.

"Actually, the Demon Clan possess even more strength when it comes to achieving immortality. In the Immortal Realm, there are many from the Immortal Clan with powerful forces. Upon achieving immortality, they possess an Immortal Body, which is also a human form. Frankly speaking, they are not that different from our Human Clan. However, when they come to the Mortal Realm, their true forms emerge, and they naturally enter their own domains."

"How do they obtain Achievement points in the sea?" Peter asked curiously.

"Same principle. Achievement points are earned by granting enlightenment to a lifeform and gaining its devotion. The Sea Clan actually has more members in the ocean, so they have a higher chance of gathering immortal qualifications there than we do on land."

Peter suddenly voiced a concern, "Won’t they greatly enhance the Sea Clan’s abilities?"

"You’re thinking about that too? Indeed, that’s the case. The power of the Sea Clan is currently being greatly enhanced. In a while, I feel that the Sea Clan will be fully capable of living on land. At that point, our Human Clan will inevitably face an existential crisis."

Ollie Morris clearly wasn’t concerned about the survival of the Human Clan, speaking with great calmness.

Peter, however, began to worry. If the Sea Clan became powerful and the Human Clan could not strengthen in time, it would be a disaster for humans. With this in mind, Peter looked at Ollie Morris and an idea came to him. He smiled at Ollie Morris and said, "Actually, you have a great opportunity to earn Achievement points."

Peter answered, "Isn’t the Sea Clan becoming stronger? If you can provoke the Sea Clan to attack the Human Clan, making humans feel threatened, and then you resolve the situation, how many humans would benefit?"

Ollie Morris’s eyes lit up as he slapped his thigh and exclaimed, "That’s right! How did I not think of that? I could gain the admiration of several billion humans on this planet, and the Achievement points would come pouring in. Peter, I owe you for this tip. I’ll start making arrangements straight away."

After finishing his words, he quickly got up and departed.

Watching Ollie Morris’s warship speed away, Peter stood there with a smile playing on his lips. Even though this method could yield a lot of Achievement points, Peter didn’t want to do it. After listening to Ollie Morris’s explanation of the situation in the Immortal Realm, Peter knew that the two Demon Immortals in the Sea Clan must be very influential, and he wasn’t yet in a position to offend them. The best plan was to have someone like Ollie Morris, who had strong backing, to do the offending, so that Peter could offer assistance if conflict arose.

With Ollie Morris’s departure, Peter started thinking about his own situation. He had once thought that ascending would lead to a smooth journey ahead, but now he realized that the Immortal Realm was not such a place of ease after all; it was complex beyond measure. What should he do?

Others had inheritances and support, but he emerged from a Cultivator without any backing, a pure grassroots individual. Given his situation, thriving in the Immortal Realm would be extremely difficult. Hence, enhancing his own power under the current circumstances was undoubtedly beneficial.

Ollie Morris was right, it was preferable to accrue as many Achievement points as possible, allowing his body more time to absorb them, so that he could go farther after reaching the Immortal Realm.

Sitting cross-legged there, Peter began to study the matter of compression.

Investing his entire Divine Sense into the Elixir Sea, Peter observed the Tree, its leaves in particular. Suddenly, he had an idea: what if he channeled incoming Achievement points into the foremost leaves?

Once Peter had this idea, he immediately set out to take action.

Others couldn’t manipulate the Elixir Sea as he could; they could only watch the Tree grow. So, in this respect, Peter had an advantage.

After a few days of thought, Peter’s heart stirred. A Tree too was a life form—couldn’t its circulation be modified to allow it a form of cultivation ability?

If he could integrate the Energy Absorption Technique or the Devouring Technique into the Tree, wouldn’t it be able to absorb more energy?

The more Peter thought about it, the more feasible his idea seemed. If he could actually accomplish this, his Tree would be extraordinary.
