Chapter 1333: Chapter 1333: I Can’t Understand Anymore_1

Peter Brown walked over, followed by a group of doctors in white coats.

"Have you sorted everything out as I instructed?" Peter asked.

"Rest assured, Dr. Brown, everything is being handled strictly according to your directions."

Peter first checked the condition of the patients and upon seeing those who were in critical shape, he swiftly inserted a few needles to keep them hanging on to life.

After that, Peter moved on to another area.

Then, with a serious expression, Peter’s hand moved, and he inserted a silver needle into an elderly man.

The various needling techniques were dazzling, and no one could discern precisely which technique he was using. Even those who had been specially invited for their knowledge of acupuncture were shaking their heads.

Even if they couldn’t understand, it was clear to see that Peter’s needling technique was awesome.

After finishing with the silver needles, Peter took out a small bottle and fed a medicine pill to the patient.

Then Peter turned to a doctor and said, "Write as I dictate, and immediately prepare the traditional Chinese medicine decoction for him to take."

As he spoke, Peter listed the names and quantities of the medicinal herbs without avoiding anyone around.

In this way, Peter went on treating one patient after another.

As time ticked by, even though the onlookers didn’t understand what was happening, they were all very interested and wanted to know what the outcome for the patients would be.

After curing eighty people with terminal diseases, Peter went to another area where some special patients were located. Although they were not in mortal danger, they had too many problems, such as blindness, obesity so severe they could not move, or those with physiological defects.

When Peter saw these twenty or so people, he frowned slightly and glanced back at Gilbert Thompson.

At this moment, Gilbert spoke with some trepidation, "We didn’t expect so many people to come for a cure at the start. These people all paid a high price. They just harbored a slight hope that if it were possible to cure them, then cure them; if not, then let it be. Even if word got out, it wouldn’t be a problem."

Though this was said, in his heart, Peter knew this might not have been Gilbert’s doing entirely, as there were others who probably wanted to use this situation to press him.

Regardless, since his reputation as the Divine Doctor had been established, he might as well astonish everyone even more.

Thinking this, Peter approached the blind man, examined his eyes for a moment, and has some clarity in his mind.

"I’ll write a prescription. Prepare a decoction for me," he said.

Peter then dictated the recipe to a doctor.

Watching the doctor depart, Gilbert said, "His condition has been present since childhood. His family is very well-known, and so is his eye condition. This time, his family has offered two million dollars."

"Tell them to increase it to ten million, or else don’t treat him," Peter said.

Since they were wealthy families, Peter didn’t mind earning a bit more from them.

"Can you cure me?" the blind man asked.

"Once the money arrives, I can cure you."

"Alright, I’ll have someone transfer the money to you right away," the patient said excitedly.

As Peter’s gaze moved to the next woman, he saw her extreme obesity, with her sitting there like a mountain of meat.

Looking at the woman, Peter said, "Ten million."

The woman cried out in shock, "You can cure me as well?"

These twenty or so people must have come from wealthy and powerful families, and Peter didn’t mind asking them for more money.

Peter didn’t respond but looked towards the next person.

"Madwoman!"

Peter Brown saw that the person was tied to the bed with ropes, and there seemed to be something wrong with their entire nervous system.

Peter said to Gilbert Thompson, "I won’t look at the ones below, ten million each, just pay it and I’ll treat them."

At that moment, Gilbert’s face was filled with shock, as he truly hadn’t expected that Peter could cure all these cases.

Honestly, these twenty people hadn’t paid any money yet; they were just served as special personnel to let Peter try treating them. It was after these families became aware of Peter’s fame that they suggested this, and Gilbert didn’t dare oppose or demand their money, saying they could pay if the treatment worked.

Who would have thought Peter wouldn’t say he couldn’t cure them—he was amazing!

"Wait a moment, I’ll communicate with them right away," Gilbert said.

As he spoke, Gilbert picked up his cell phone and started making calls.

After a short while, Gilbert returned to Peter’s side, his expression solemn, "They have sent the money. What if you can’t cure them?"

Peter replied, "As long as the things I’ve asked you to prepare are ready, that’s fine."

For the first time, Gilbert realized that he couldn’t understand Peter anymore.

By this time, the doctor who had first gone to prepare the Decoction had brought it over.

Peter walked up to the person who was blind in both eyes. After inserting several silver needles, it was unclear what he did next, but he was seen holding a bowl of soup and, rather than having the patient drink it, he poured it onto the patient’s eyes.

What was even more surprising was that the Decoction did not flow onto the ground, but stayed within the range of the silver needles.

After continuously twirling the silver needles, Peter flicked them.

The Decoction had already changed, seemingly turning into clear water that flowed onto the floor.

"You can open your eyes now," said Peter to the blind man.

At this, the blind man’s face was filled with trepidation, and he dared not open his eyes.

Peter glanced at him and with a gentle motion of his hand over the man’s eyes, the blind man was suddenly staring wide-eyed.

"I can see!" the formerly blind man shouted after a while.

The onlooking crowd was stunned; this blind man was a well-known figure, he had even appeared on TV. His blindness was such that even top doctors couldn’t treat it, yet Peter had cured him so quickly.

Peter didn’t concern himself with their amazement but looked over to the people he had just treated and said, "Let them leave; why are they sleeping here?"

"What did you say?" asked Gilbert, looking at Peter in astonishment.

"They can go now," Peter said, and then he approached the obese woman.

"Can you really cure me?" the woman asked, now truly filled with hope.

Peter instructed the doctors behind him, "Prepare a bathtub full of medicine."

While speaking, Peter also wrote a prescription for them, instructing them to prepare enough Decoction for the woman to be able to submerge her entire body.

The woman, excited, said, "I’ll notify people to help with this, I have bathtubs and everything."

"That’s even better," Peter nodded slightly.

At this moment, the journalists had all aimed their cameras at the woman, who was also quite famous. She used to be an exceptionally beautiful woman before becoming obese, and everyone wanted to see if Peter could cure her as well.
