Chapter 1248: Chapter 1248: Life-Saving Immortal Talisman_1

After successfully creating the first Immortal Stone Talisman, Peter Brown gained experience and, after a brief period of recovery, began the task of talisman making.

Others did not see the crisis, but Peter had a deep sense of impending danger.

This time, despite the Beast Sect’s victory, a significant problem remained, namely that not many members of the Beast Sect emerged from the Divine Sense Battle, with many still trapped within the Divine Stones.

Yes, they had defeated the Demon Sect, but what would the Beast Sect do if faced with a Sect intent on their eradication?

Those who came knocking made their intention clear, as long as the Beast Sect was not wiped out, it was tolerable. Although the Sect wouldn’t be eradicated, at any time, their power could be taken over entirely, and most of their experts killed. If this happened, the Beast Sect’s next Divine Sense Battle would bring dire straits, leading to inevitable defeat.

Living in the Immortal Realm was far from easy; the Beast Sect was powerful, but now it harbored a hidden crisis.

No longer concerning himself with such matters, Peter knew the priority was to arm himself.

With the skill of talisman making at his disposal, it made no sense for Peter not to arm himself.

The Teleportation Talisman had always been Peter’s favorite, and after mastering two talisman-making techniques, it was the first talisman he thought of.

After pondering for a while, Peter began designing a brand-new Teleportation Talisman right there.

Given the difference between the two types of energy and the necessary variations in formation settings, not to mention the different uses of energy from Immortal Beast and Spirit Beast blood, if one was not careful during the infusion process, it could lead to failure--a critical reason many Talisman Makers remained unsuccessful.

Fortunately, Peter had robust Divine Sense support, which allowed him to monitor the infusion process closely, thus avoiding significant issues.

Two hours later, with a bright flash, the Immortal Stone was completely transformed.

Peter examined the finished product closely, and a smile spread across his face; the talisman-making was indeed a success.

With this success, Peter’s experience became increasingly rich, and afterwards, it only took him 10 minutes to produce each Teleportation Talisman.

He gave ten Teleportation Talismans to Sophia Anderson and stockpiled over a hundred for himself.

Now, Peter felt even more confident; having such talismans at hand meant he could escape if outmatched, significantly increasing his chances of survival.

Enough Teleportation Talismans; it was time to create something new.

Naturally, the second type of talisman Peter chose was the Illusion talisman, considering he had too many techniques that must remain unseen. If revealed all at once, his methods would be exposed. Therefore, he needed to create a misty talisman that wouldn’t attract attention. In battle, this talisman would be released to cloak the events within.

"Fog talisman!"

Peter muttered to himself.

This was a talisman with little offensive ability but a potent effect: it could conjure a dense mist, shrouding both sides of the conflict. The fog talisman also had a bewitching effect, ensnaring those within, making it hard to escape promptly.

It didn’t take Peter too much time to produce this talisman; he drew a pile of them on paper with a Talisman brush, as they didn’t require an Immortal Stone.

Sophia Anderson didn’t understand why Peter made such a large quantity of Fog Talismans and asked, "Master, what is the benefit of these talismans?"

"There are quite a few benefits. First, if you cannot overpower your opponent, you can use this talisman to make a quick escape."

Sophia’s eyes shone, "Indeed, that’s a valuable talisman. If used well, escaping is entirely possible."

"Second, the talisman has a bewildering effect. If the opponent is caught in the mist, they become your target; you can hit them, but they can’t hit you. For two equally matched combatants, don’t you agree your likelihood of winning has increased?"

"Truly, Master, if used correctly, this talisman holds significant power."

Peter did not disclose that the key reason for creating these talismans was to hide his own attack methods.

However, even with just these two abilities mentioned, Sophia nodded vigorously, convinced of the talisman’s great potential.

Peter then handed a stack of the prepared talismans to Sophia.

"Master, I think Arrow Talismans could be quite effective in group fights, why not make some of those?"

After some thought, Peter shook his head, "Indeed, they could be powerful, but against a Strong Person, Arrow Talismans are somewhat lacking."

As he said this, an idea struck Peter. If ordinary Arrow Talismans were ineffective, why not create Soul Talismans?

With this thought, Peter sank into contemplation. Conventional talismans were made of material substances, while Soul Talismans, based on his understanding in the Phantom Realm, would be crafted purely with Divine Sense, using overlapping formations to seal the potent Divine Sense Energy inside an Immortal Stone.

Of course, some formations needed to be inscribed on the Immortal Stone to contain the vast Divine Sense Energy.

With this in mind, Peter meticulously worked out the formation settings and then began Inscribing them onto an Immortal Stone.

Layer upon layer of formations, each sealing formation inscribed within the Stone. Once this was completed, Peter channeled a vast amount of his Divine Sense Energy into the Immortal Stone.

Given that his Divine Sense Energy could automatically recover, even if he depleted it entirely, he could fully restore it in two days. If he consumed some Divine Sense Recovery Elixirs, it would be instantaneous.

After investing energy for 10 minutes, Peter observed the Immortal Stone, now replete with sealed Divine Sense Energy.

Excellent!

Seeing that he had indeed created a Soul Talisman, Peter was in high spirits. With this talisman, he could use it against opponents in combat, and if anyone became aware, he could attribute it to the talisman’s power.

In the following time, Peter busied himself making a large number of these talismans.

He only gave Sophia two talismans for testing purposes; the rest he kept.

That’s enough!

After working so arduously for many days, Peter was truly exhausted. Storing the large number of talismans within his Ring, he was confident that he could escape even when faced with a Strong Person.

After sitting cross-legged and recovering for two days, Peter fully resumed his vigor.
