Chapter 1191: Chapter 1191: Inferno Five Ghosts_1

The Johnson brothers had never anticipated what was about to happen. In just a short period, Peter Brown had managed to kill two of them using an Immortal Artifact, leaving the eldest brother, Tobias Thompson, utterly dumbfounded where he stood.

"I’m going to kill you all!"

Soon after, filled with hatred, Tobias rushed forward, frantically chopping at the area that appeared to be a forest.

Seeing Tobias’s frenzied state, Peter made his move again. Tobias was so consumed by madness that he completely failed to notice Peter’s approach.

"Go!"

A Heavenly Thunder Talisman struck Tobias hard.

Because he had lost two relatives, Tobias was utterly defenseless, focused solely on fighting back. As a result, when the Heavenly Thunder Talisman hit him, it exploded.

Ice and Snow Talisman!

Seeing that the opponent was severely injured but not yet dead, Peter threw an Ice and Snow Talisman, freezing Tobias on the spot. Then, with a charge and a swing of his great blade, Peter beheaded him.

Peter swiftly took the storage bags from the three men, and without giving a second glance to their Points Cards, he threw them into his Ruyi Furnace and then darted into the Landscape Array.

Just after Peter entered the Landscape Array, sounds of rushing could be heard from all around, followed by several people charging into the scene.

Raina Carter gaped in disbelief. She had never imagined that Peter would finish the battle so quickly. Her understanding of Peter’s methods deepened, and she thought to herself that following this man was truly a stroke of luck, for he was a real power to be reckoned with.

As her gaze fell upon Peter, Raina’s eyes began to fill with a sense of awe.

Sitting within the array, Peter’s heart was also racing. The battle he had just fought had nearly exhausted all his resources, and any misstep might have led to his own demise. Fortunately, his opponents had not anticipated his many capabilities.

Looking at those who had just arrived, Peter was shocked; they were all Body Refiners, and by their manner, it was clear that their cultivation in Body Refinement was at a high level.

"Where is he?" One of them loudly asked upon arrival, looking up into the sky.

Seeing that there was no shimmer of light above these several men, Peter understood that they were not from the Three Major Factions but rather strong individuals who had come from elsewhere, hunting those who ventured to seek the immortal tomb.

"Just now, there were three glimmers of light here; how come they’re gone now?"

"Indeed, could they have left that quickly?"

The group began to discuss among themselves.

"These three were bound and killed by Talismans. The one who did this must have a large number of Immortal Talismans!"

After a quick investigation, one of them spoke up.

"Let it be, it’s better if we just keep watch over those who have the keys. Leave these matters for now."

Having spoken, the individuals quickly departed one after another.

Peter chose not to leave the Landscape Array and took a seat to meditate.

Within this array, even loud conversations wouldn’t carry outside, so Peter turned to Raina and asked, "What’s up?"

"Master, those five are not from the three factions, I recognized them!"

"Oh? Who are they?"

"The Inferno Five Ghosts!"

"What kind of people are they?"

"I’ve heard that they are five brothers by oath, all of whom practice the Body Refining Technique, and they have reached high levels in their cultivation."

Peter found he still had too much to learn about these matters and asked, "How are the levels of Body Refining Technique divided here?"

Raina responded, "Master, Body Refinement is divided into three major categories: Heaven, Earth, and Human, each with ten levels, totaling thirty levels. In reality, everyone knows that Body Refinement is difficult, it requires a lot of resources, and most can only reach the Human Layer. Very few can attain the Earth Layer. The cultivation of the Inferno Five Ghosts has already reached the Human Eighth Layer."

Lacking a clear understanding, Peter continued, "What does each layer of the Human Period equate to in terms of levels?"

"Master, the Immortal Realm is divided into Upper, Middle, and Lower Levels. The first to third levels of the Human Layer of Body Refinement correspond to the Early, Middle, and Late Periods of the Immortal. It’s generally the same for the subsequent levels. The eighth layer of Human Level is equivalent to being a Middle Period Golden Immortal."

Peter finally began to grasp the relationships between the levels and mused, "Although they’re only at the Eighth Layer of Body Refinement, and not equivalent to a Late Period Golden Immortal, they are quite a formidable presence in a place like this, right?"

"Master, exactly. If we were to battle with them, I, being in the Golden Immortal Period, wouldn’t stand a chance against them."

Peter glanced at Raina, thinking that with her fighting abilities, she probably didn’t have much chance of victory.

As they were speaking, the Inferno Five Ghosts reemerged in the area.

"No one’s appeared?"

"Could they really have left?"

The Inferno Five Ghosts discussed amongst themselves.

Peter realized that they hadn’t left after all; their earlier departure was a ruse to check if anyone was hiding nearby.

Seeing through the Five Ghosts’ schemes, Peter could only shake his head, as he hadn’t anticipated such tactics himself.

After the Five Ghosts inspected the area once more, they finally departed.

Now, Peter no longer cared whether they were still lurking around; he pulled out a bed from his storage within the array and lay down to sleep.

Peter was also concerned about the consumption of Immortal Stones. After killing so many people, not only had he not lost any, but his stockpile had significantly increased.

When Raina saw Peter behave this way, she too removed her garments and climbed into the bed with him, attentively serving him.

As Peter watched Raina fully embrace her role, the image of the woman he first met came to mind, a stark contrast to the person before him now.

However, with such a beautiful woman carefully attending to him, Peter felt an exquisite sense of satisfaction throughout his body.

Peter also felt that he was becoming increasingly integrated into the lifestyle of the strong in the Immortal Realm, absorbing the way of life of the powerful beings there.

"Really, there’s no one here!"

To Peter’s annoyance, the Inferno Five Ghosts appeared yet again. Still finding no one, they discussed once more.

"Let’s go. I think they’ve truly left. It’s better to keep watch at the immortal tomb. Let’s move."

This time, the Inferno Five Ghosts finally seemed to have left for good.

Peter didn’t bother anymore with whether they were still hiding or not. He pressed down on Raina, entering her with vigorous force as their own battle unfolded.

The array they were in was a Landscape Array, and the outside world could not hear what was happening within. In such a place, entangled in a fierce struggle with Raina, Peter found the unique sensation almost beyond words. He was extremely satisfied with the Landscape Array.
