Chapter 1184: Chapter 1184 Another Key Appears_1

What were these people fighting over here?

When Peter Brown looked towards the crowd, his gaze sharpened unexpectedly, for he hadn’t anticipated seeing Raina Carter among them. Not only was she there, but she also appeared to be one of the key figures on one side.

Glancing at the person standing next to her, Peter spotted a handsome and dashing young man standing shoulder to shoulder with her, the two of them seeming quite intimate.

Seeing this situation, Peter shook his head; how could Leo White ever imagine his wife having such a close relationship with such a young man?

Of course, Peter had already investigated Raina Carter’s situation, and so far, this woman had remained chaste and had not been with anyone.

Thinking about it, it made sense; Raina Carter wouldn’t dare lose her virginity if she wanted to deceive Leo White, as the Hawkins Family would surely discover it, and that would render her assumed identity useless.

However, Peter still felt uncomfortable in his heart, after all, this woman’s current identity was his wife; letting her continue like this would make it awkward for him to assume the identity later.

No, that young man must die!

Peter looked over to the dashing young man and instantly saw that his cultivation was at the Golden Immortal Layer.

Turning his attention to the battlefield, the majority of those fighting were at the Celestial Tier, with a few being from the Immortal Realm.

This woman seemed to have prepared well in advance, actually gathering so many people.

"Zephyr Campbell, we discovered this key, how dare you try to steal it!" a Golden Immortal expert clad in the attire of Hong Water Gate shouted at the young man beside Raina Carter.

"Zephyr Campbell?" Peter browsed his memories but couldn’t find any mention of such a person in the Sect.

As this thought crossed his mind, Peter grew suspicious, wondering if these people were really not from the Ghost Expelling Sect?

If they weren’t from the Ghost Expelling Sect, then what kind of people were they?

The more he thought about it, the more he felt there was something eerie about this situation. Could Raina Carter have another identity?

"Nathaniel Nelson, do you think you can withstand our attack?"

At this, Zephyr Campbell shouted, "Kill him!"

"Puh!"

Following Zephyr Campbell’s command, a flesh-piercing sound was heard, and then everyone saw Nathaniel Nelson fall to the ground.

They saw that the young man who had been following closely behind Nathaniel Nelson was holding a long sword dripping with blood.

"You!"

The people engaged in the fight were shocked.

Before they could understand the situation, Zephyr Campbell laughed heartily and said to others, "You can kill them now."

Following his order, screams were heard from all around as many people fell.

"Raina, go collect their point cards," Zephyr Campbell instructed.

"Thank you, Aman," Raina Carter said, her usually expressionless face now revealing a seductive smile. She swayed her hips as she went to collect the point cards from those who had fallen, touching them against her own card. With that, the points were transferred to her.

After the opposing group was killed, Zephyr Campbell’s side had grown to as many as twenty-eight people.

Peter watched the unfolding events with silent alarm; the strength of these people was formidable. Obviously, a direct confrontation with them was out of the question.

Peter Brown’s gaze landed on the key lying on the ground.

It seemed that these people had focused all their attention on the key!

"Raina, now you have one key, and we’ve obtained another here, and that kid has one too, with four keys that means we already have three in hand. After we get the last key, we’ll be able to open the Temple of War God."

"Aman, I have no idea what happened to Leo White, the Heart-Connecting Symbol has failed," she reported.

"Something unexpected must have occurred. We should head towards the Temple of War God. As long as they have the key, they’ll surely be guided by it to the temple," he conjectured.

At this moment, the group had finished scouring the corpses on the ground for items and, under Zephyr Campbell’s lead, they set off towards the east.

Watching the now silent battlefield, Peter was contemplating the upcoming events.

Aside from the Three Major Factions, he hadn’t expected the existence of another secret power, and it didn’t seem to be a small one at that.

No matter, first I’ll follow them and see, and if there’s a chance, I’ll take them out one by one!

While Peter thought about his plans, he carefully followed them.

It was now that Peter finally understood the purpose of the keys—they were meant to open a site called the Temple of War God.

Three days had passed, and Peter had been trailing these people, watching as their ranks swelled and they took down numerous members of different Sects. Raina Carter’s Points Card had already accumulated quite a few points.

"You are from the Dark Sect!"

This time they encountered a group from the Great Prosperity Sect. The Golden Immortal Layer master leading them exclaimed in shock after fighting with Zephyr Campbell’s group for a while.

"So you know of our Sect’s existence, we can’t let you live. Kill, leave no one behind!"

A stronger killing intent shone in Zephyr Campbell’s eyes as he gave his order and charged into the fray himself.

The one who had revealed their identity fought desperately, roaring as he clashed with Zephyr Campbell.

When Peter saw this, his eyes narrowed, knowing that it was an opportunity to weaken the enemy’s power.

Peter first used the Shape-shifting Technique to change his appearance to that of an ordinary person before he cast an Invisibility Talisman.

With no one on the battlefield using Divine Sense to Investigate, Peter, after casting the Invisibility Talisman, found himself behind a Golden Immortal of Zephyr Campbell’s side who was fighting a high-ranking member of the Grand Light Sect, and he cast an Ice and Snow Talisman.

The Dark Sect’s Golden Immortal master had not anticipated an ambush, and while engaged in battle, was caught off guard by Peter’s sneak attack. Before he could react, he was frozen solid, and then his opponent’s great sword bore down.

With a thud!

A loud sound rang out as the Golden Immortal master fell.

Peter didn’t linger; he swiftly moved behind another Golden Immortal master.

By then, Zephyr Campbell’s forces had grown to over thirty people, with as many as five at the Immortal Level.

After taking down one, Peter approached another from behind, casting the same Ice and Snow Talisman on him.

Though this person was on alert, he had no chance to escape as his opponent’s great hammer shattered his skull.

That was not enough for Peter—he charged behind another Golden Immortal master. This time, the opponent was prepared and grunted, ready to battle with Peter.

Unfortunately for him, Peter didn’t give him that chance. A trapping talisman was cast, followed swiftly by a Heavenly Thunder Talisman that blasted the man to death within the talisman.
