When Peter Brown’s car entered the village, he noticed it was already past six o’clock, and saw that there were lights on at his parents’ place, so he parked the car in the courtyard.

When he walked into the house, Peter unexpectedly saw tears in his mother’s eyes and everyone was about to go out.

"What’s wrong?" Peter was surprised.

Seeing Peter come in, Liza Smith choked, "Your grandma is critically ill, and has been taken to the township hospital. Your uncle John called to tell me to go see her for the last time."

Only then did Peter remember that his mother had come from a mountain village, and her family still lived there.

"I’ll drive."

Without saying more, Peter helped carry some things and went to the car.

As he opened the car door, his parents and little sister Kate also walked over.

Peter had already discovered the old lady’s condition – stomach cancer which had spread and was at a late stage. Doctors thought there was no hope for her. However, Peter didn’t think so. He knew a way to kill the cancer cells and restore her vitality.

"There’s no use, I know my own situation."

The old lady’s voice was not low.

Everyone noticed the old woman who was thought to be dying could now speak with vigor.

Of course, everyone thought it was the calm before the storm.

Believing her son the most, Liza immediately asked, "Peter, what did you say? Can you really cure her?"

"Yes!"

"The doctors can’t cure her, don’t talk nonsense!" a young-looking relative yelled out.

Liza looked at her mother and said, "Mom, let Peter try treating you, he can do it!"

The old lady smiled, "Alright, I trust Peter, haha."

The old lady knew her situation but didn’t care, and was happy to see her grandson.

"Mom, watch the needles, I remember there’s a store in the village, I’ll buy some medicine and come back."

"Okay!"

Liza nodded vigorously.

"Alright, let Peter try it, it’s like this anyway!" The old man walked to the side and sat down.

The ward suddenly became quiet.

Meanwhile, Peter had arrived at a traditional Chinese medicine clinic and asked to buy some herbal medicines, which were not particularly valuable but were available in the store.

After purchasing the medicines, Peter bought a medicine jar and rushed back to the Sanitary Institute.

Hurrying into the Sanitary Institute, Peter checked the silver needles before adding a bit more True Qi to them. Then he went to boil the medicinal herbs in a borrowed charcoal stove and added the ingredients to the medicine jar, picking some roadside wild grasses to add as well.

When Peter brought the Decoction into the ward, the Hospital Director was scolding the people inside, saying they shouldn’t play around, as someone’s life was at stake.

Peter heard his mother arguing with the Hospital Director.

Not paying any attention to them, Peter brought the medicine to his grandmother and said, "Grandma, drink this and you’ll get better. I’ll help you drink it."
