Chapter 1052: Chapter 1052: The Return Once More_1
Peter Brown was no longer concerned with what was happening in the external world. Now that he had refined 100 Mahayana puppets, his only thought was to return to Earth once more.
Last time, Peter had noticed something abnormal about Earth, and this time he wanted to visit Earth’s past to see what kind of events would unfold.
After a rough calculation, Peter adjusted the destination of his journey back by a significant period, roughly a thousand years. He believed that this distance should be sufficient.
This time, Peter was quite confident, given that all nine golden babies were operating and absorbing Immortal power. Even if he was on a place like Earth, as long as there was even a hint of spiritual energy, it could also be transformed into Immortal power.
"I will be in closed-door cultivation for a long time this time, you just set up a few formations here and handle the affairs of the star planet yourselves. With 50 Mahayana puppets, you shouldn’t have any major problems," Peter said after a fierce battle with the two girls as he caressed the soft flesh on their chests.
"Master, many strong masters have now joined us, and we have also received some Mahayana stage and Tribulation Crossing stage masters. We should be able to manage," said Elodie Grant, getting more into her role. The girl, perhaps having suffered through hardships, now displayed the qualities of a strong, capable woman after having gained some power.
Peter was unconcerned about how his women behaved, as long as they could please him in bed.
"That’s good, I’ve set up a formation for you. If you cannot win, hide inside the formation. Even a Mahayana stage person won’t be able to break through the formation," Peter added with a sense of arrangement.
The two girls then agreed.
"Master, here are the large amounts of materials you wanted," Evelyn Grant handed a ring to Peter.
After taking the ring, Peter had to admit that he had previously erred in trying to collect materials by himself, which was truly difficult. Now that he had subordinates, collecting materials was like child’s play. In just a few days, he had filled two rings with materials.
Turning over, Peter pressed Elodie under him and entered her again, and soon, the room was filled with the sights and sounds of spring once more.
After a good battle, Peter bathed and changed clothes, then sat cross-legged in a formation on the ground, his entire being adjusted to the optimal state.
After adjusting himself, Peter used his Divine Sense to check the condition of the formation one last time before he confidently began to stimulate the Immortal power and directed it towards the space above.
Boom!
A loud noise ensued, and Peter felt himself entering another space domain, noting that this journey seemed somewhat longer than before.
Of course, it was just a feeling Peter had; it wasn’t truly much longer.
As Peter’s figure emerged from one space-time, he immediately inspected his whole body.
Just as he thought! Seeing no change in his body affirmed his previous speculation that the reason he returned to his high school days last time must have been due to insufficient Immortal power. This time, he had deliberately wrapped his body in Immortal power, preventing any changes in age after his arrival.
With this confirmation, Peter finally breathed a sigh of relief. As long as he had Immortal power, he would not have issues with age changing. His biggest worry was that if the time span was too long, he might be too old or not even be born upon reaching the past, which would be a real dilemma.
After checking his body, Peter then turned his attention to his surroundings.
He had felt something was off right from the start, and now, as he looked around, his eyes widened.
Peter realized he was in the void, not on Earth.
However, as he looked around, he saw the Sun, yet several star planets had vanished.
What had happened?
Peter was baffled, thinking he might not have arrived in the Solar System.
Peter summoned the Escape Starship and headed towards a star planet, quickly reaching its surface.
Though it was evident that the star planet had changed, too.
After searching for a while, to his surprise, Peter found that this star planet was Mars, still marked with some traces he had left behind.
On the surface of the planet, Peter walked towards certain locations. The Pyramid was severely damaged, the structures that he had deliberately built were destroyed, leaving only remains.
Looking at the star planet again, it was clear that it had undergone a transformation after being ravaged by some kind of energy.
Peter then traveled to an even more distant star planet.
Upon reaching that larger star planet, Peter discovered it was Pluto, also bearing buildings he had constructed. This planet, comparatively, had suffered less destruction, but it, too, had shifted in some ways.
What was the actual situation?
Thinking about the issues that had arisen on Earth in just a thousand years, Peter also wanted to understand what had occurred during that millennium.
With that in mind, Peter continued to pilot the Escape Starship towards where Earth had once been. A virtual screen emerged, and he briskly worked his Hand Seal.
This time, Peter intended to thoroughly investigate what had happened. With his understanding, Earth was not easily destroyed; even if Nuclear Weapons obliterated the entire surface, Earth would not explode. Yet now, Earth had inexplicably disappeared. What could have caused this?
As Peter executed his Hand Seal, he whispered softly, "Reverse Light Technique!"
At Peter’s current level, with Immortal power driving the technique, the Reverse Light Technique was far more formidable than the reversal spell, depicting a more vivid picture.
With Immortal power accelerating the reversal, the speed was rapid, and the visual experience was impressively realistic.
As the time regressed bit by bit, Peter sat on the Escape Starship, observing the events that unfolded in this expanse of the starry sky.
One hundred years quickly passed, and Peter saw that Earth was nowhere to be found in this corner of space.
Strange indeed!
Peter reviewed another hundred years, and this time he could distinctly feel intense energy fluctuations throughout this span of space, with energy overflowing everywhere and debris flying all around.
Peter’s eyes widened as he knew he would soon see what befell Earth.
Another century elapsed and the energy in the starry sky grew even more violent; debris littered the entire expanse, as if planets had exploded, scattering their remnants across the void.
