Having collected the rings and other items from these people, Peter Brown wasn’t in the mood to check their contents, and he walked deeper in.

At first, Peter thought it was a tree, but upon closer inspection, shock appeared in his eyes. This was not a tree, but a plant, though it was so large it seemed a towering tree existing in the void.

When Peter looked at the roots of the gigantic plant, he found them hidden in the void, impossible to see.

He had never seen such a plant before, nor had he ever imagined one could grow in the void. Peter felt his consciousness hit by this realization.

"Who goes there?"

At that moment, Peter detected several powerful Divine Senses sweeping towards him.

Looking in the direction from which the Divine Senses emanated, he saw two groups of people in a standoff under the giant plant, with quite a few Mahayana stage masters among them.

Now Peter was not afraid of these people. Even if they were at the Mahayana stage, they could use Divine Sense for reconnaissance and Immortal power for attack, but compared to him, they seemed weak.

Standing there, Peter said, "You can leave now."

After discovering this Star Grass, Peter had an idea. This was a rare treasure, and perhaps he could draw Immortal power from the Star Grass.

Even standing at this distance, Peter could still feel the immense power of Immortal energy emanating from the Star Grass.

How exactly the immortal grass came to be here and how it possessed Immortal power, Peter had no idea. Yet, even without knowing, he had set his sights on the immortal grass.

The two groups were taken aback that someone in the Nascent Soul Stage like Peter would say such a thing, and they all paused in surprise.

The members of the Nine Dragons Gang suddenly thought of something, and the leader said in a deep voice, "How did you get in?"

Seeing their attire was similar to those he had killed, Peter replied, "If you mean those outside, I killed them to get in."

"What?"

Both parties were shocked as they looked at Peter, especially the members of the Nine Dragons Gang. They knew that the team lying in ambush outside was led by a Mahayana master, a master not only of complete perfection in Body Refinement but also capable of wielding some Immortal power. Who could possibly kill him?

Taking out a magic treasure, the leader of the Nine Dragons Gang triggered something and immediately his expression turned ugly. He looked at Peter sternly and asked, "Who exactly are you?" As he spoke, he signaled his personnel to strengthen their guard.

At this moment, Peter looked over to the other group and said, "If you don’t know how awesome I am, you can send another Mahayana master over. I don’t want to kill more people."

His manner was completely arrogant. Peter felt he had never been so domineering before, but now he also felt he had adopted some of the Cultivator’s mindset.

"Jaxen, go and test him," said a person from the Nine Dragons Gang to a Mahayana master.

The Great Ascender unfolded his Body Refinement technique and rushed towards Peter.

All eyes were on the two of them, everyone eager to see what techniques Peter would use to fight back.

At that moment, Peter Brown had full confidence in his Immortal power. Without using the Shadowless Shuttle, he circulated his Immortal power and, with his mighty Body Refinement physique, charged straight toward the opponent.

Both of them seemed to rely on the strength of Body Refinement, but with the protection of his Body Refinement Immortal power, Peter’s defenses were a bit stronger.

Soon, the two collided.

As they came into contact and his right fist struck out, Peter’s left hand had already unleashed One Immortal Finger.

It must be said that the persons of the Mahayana stage are really limited in such places. This Mahayana individual was the same; before he could fully display his abilities, the Immortal power had already burst into his body.

Once their thoughts were aligned, both leaders shouted to their subordinates, "Join forces and kill this man!"

As they spoke, all the Cultivators from both sides charged toward Peter.

During their assault, they even deployed purely mechanical weapons like crossbows that didn’t utilize True Qi, shooting a large number of arrows at Peter.

Peter summoned his previously refined tortoise shell shield, completely concealing his body within it, and the Shadowless Shuttle was already in his hand.

The leaders of both factions were sensible people. Seeing the situation, they knew they’d encountered tough resistance and couldn’t injure Peter no matter what they did.

"Let’s go!"

The two leaders exchanged a glance and bellowed, leading their people away.

Peter hadn’t expected them to do such a brisk exit and was caught off guard when they left so quickly. He grabbed a Mahayana master and began using the Soul Searching Technique on the individual.
