Chapter 1864: 447: Terrence Lentz: Do I need a big vacuum? _3
Charlotte Young could hardly stand Eleanor Armstrong acting like this.
Did Eleanor really think Viola Thompson would be with a good-for-nothing like Terrence Lentz?
They were just playing with them!
Who was Viola Thompson?
And what was Terrence Lentz in comparison?
At this point, Eleanor paused and said, "It’s a pity Viola has been busy lately; otherwise, I would have invited her to come and stay with us for a while."
Invite Viola Thompson here?
Hearing this, Charlotte, whose face was already marked by mockery, almost laughed out loud at the notion.
Eleanor was far too full of herself.
Who did she think she was?
Did she think if she invited Viola Thompson, Viola would just come?
Completely lacking self-awareness.
Eunice then asked, "Is Miss Thompson still in Country Polluton?"
Eleanor shook her head, "No, Viola is currently in Country Polluton, dealing with something about the Ebola Virus."
Eunice continued, "The Ebola Virus is supposed to be contagious, so if Miss Thompson is on the front lines, she definitely needs to be careful."
Eleanor sighed softly, "This child always takes the lead in everything; I’m worried too."
She knew the severity of the Ebola Virus.
But Viola insisted on going, and all she could do was respect Viola’s decision.
Eunice smiled and said, "But Miss Thompson is the most professional in this regard, so you don’t have to worry too much."
"Mhm."
Eleanor then said, "Sister, why don’t you and Mr. Tulio stay here a little longer? Once Viola is done with her current commitments, she’ll definitely come."
Eunice hesitated a moment, "If circumstances allow, then I’ll stay here with Jael a bit longer; who knows, maybe we’ll run into Miss Thompson then."
She really wanted to meet Viola.
Eunice was even more curious to find out just what kind of girl she was.
To have such high achievements, she surely wasn’t just anybody.
Eleanor smiled and said, "That would be great; we can explore the island more and have some fun."
Eunice nodded.
Charlotte watched the two of them, narrowing her eyes, and then added, "Mr. Tulio, Mrs. Tulio, Grandpa, Mom, and Dad, I have a meeting this afternoon, so I’ll be leaving first."
She couldn’t stand their boasting any longer.
Viola Thompson would come to the vacation island to see Patriarch Lentz?
That was impossible!
It was nothing but a daydream.
Patriarch Lentz nodded, "Alright, go on then."
Seeing Charlotte leave, Sophie immediately stood up and said with a smile, "Mr. Tulio, Mrs. Tulio, Grandpa, Mom, and Dad, I’ll be leaving too."
"Go ahead."
Patriarch Lentz didn’t say anything, but his gaze said it all.
He didn’t think much of these two daughters-in-law.
Their manners were unappealing!
For the sake of benefit, they were capable of doing anything.
After the daughters-in-law had left, Eleanor walked over to Eunice, warmly took her hand, and said, "Sister, let me take you for a walk nearby. The old men are talking; we can’t get a word in anyway."
Eunice liked this idea, and hearing Eleanor say this, she immediately responded with a smile, "Sounds good."
The two headed out the door.
The vacation island was beautiful, picturesque at every turn.
The island was divided into two parts.
The northwest side had been completely commercialized and was filled with tourists.
Their current location was on the southeastern side of the island, which Patriarch Lentz had bought, and tourists were not allowed to roam freely.
The two chatted as they walked.
Since they had known each other for a long time and got along well, they could talk about almost anything.
Eunice looked at the bracelet on Eleanor’s wrist and said with a smile, "That’s a beautiful bracelet! How much did it cost?"
"It’s pretty, isn’t it? It’s the latest from CG, a gift from Viola," Eleanor said with a proud air.
Whenever she mentioned Viola, there was always a hint of pride in Eleanor’s eyes.
Eunice was a bit surprised and said, "From Miss Thompson?"
"Yes," Eleanor nodded.
Eunice curiously said, "I see you and Miss Thompson get along really well."
"Yes, Viola and I are just like mother and daughter!"
Hearing this, Eunice was even more surprised.
She knew Eleanor wasn’t one to boast.
She originally thought that given Viola’s achievements, she would have an aloof demeanor and be quite satisfied with her future mother-in-law.
Otherwise, Viola wouldn’t have given Eleanor a gift voluntarily.
They say the mother-in-law/daughter-in-law relationship is the hardest to handle; Eunice thought theirs would be even more challenging, but surprisingly, they got along harmoniously.
