Chapter 69: Graduate Early? (2)
"What do you think?" the Fourth Head of the Wansu City asked patiently.
For the students in the seventh year or above, there would be no one who would complain about them graduating early. After all, the early graduation minimum that was set before was after the sixth year. In thi sway, they have long reached the age where they could graduate early.
Even if they might not think they were ready, but since they could deal with the ghost and perform well, it was time for them to graduate.
"I agree," the Red Family Patriarch said.
"I agree too," the Black Family Patriarch followed suit. He had long wanted to agree, but he didn’t dare to be the first one to say it. Otherwise, he would look too eager to agree.
"This..." The White Family Patriarch looked at Evan on the screen and sighed deeply. Anyway, Evan’s role was more of the commander than anything else. It should be fine. "Alright, I also agree."
Only the Green Family Patriarch was left. He looked at the Fourth Head of the Wansu City who was staring in his direction and knew that it was impossible for him to disagree here. Otherwise, when Yun truly graduated, she would have to form a different team.
But as a support, what Yun needed the most was a strong teammate to protect her.
These children who were her teammates would undoubtedly be the best choice.
They might not be the strongest magic warriors, but they all have the talent to grow. Moreover, Yun had a good relationship with them and they should be happy to form a team together.
Forming a team usually required the children to agree and they could even select their own team members. The only exception was the time of war when they had to go to the battlefield urgently. At that time, they would have temporary team members based on their strengths and weaknesses.
"I can agree but I hope that they would not take any ghost related mission until next year," the Green Family Patriarch replied. "They need to hone their sealing skills first."
"True." The Red Family Patriarch sighed and nodded.
His son was stupid about sealing, so if he had to take ghost related mission, he had to be with his teammate.
And one year was not exactly a long time for them.
Even though the Fourth Head of the Wansu City wanted these children to go to the battlefield as soon as possible, he had to listen to these patriarch’s words.
He could only nod his head in agreement.
"Alright, I’ll set it so that they had graduated but would only take simple missions for the time being," the Fourth Head of the Wansu City replied.
One year later, they would be 12 years old. It was precisely the time needed for them to reach the minimum graduation standard.
After all, they were already in their sixth year.
Normally speaking, they would stay in the school for another year to learn the theory and basics. But considering that both Aya and Yun were basically the top theoretical scorers each month with Evan and Leon following closely behind, it didn’t seem to be necessary.
As for Dean?
Well, everyone chose to turn blind eyes to him.
Anyway, no one from the Red Family was known for their good theoretical foundation and knowledge. Instead, they were usually relatively worse off.
The Red Family never placed too much importance in learning knowledge either. They knew very well that their IQ was one of their weaknesses.
"Who do you plan to arrange to be their leader?" the Red Family Patriarch then asked.
Allowing the children to graduate early was not that simple. Those who graduated in time after they were much older could take care of themselves, but those who were younger usually had a teacher or at least a more powerful magic warrior to lead them for a period of time.
It was usually a short period of time, though.
In the past, the teams were also far more relaxing and if they were qualified enough, they can just go out on their own without any teacher. But after the ghosts appeared, the higher ups strictly forbade them from going out on their own without a more powerful magic warrior.
Because if they let these children go out on their own, they might not be able to deal with these ghosts.
These patriarchs could agree that their children graduate early, but they hoped that there would be someone to help these children to practice and take missions after they graduated.
The problem was, these children were mixed from several families.
They could arrange some of their family members to protect the children but it would be better if the teacher was also powerful enough to protect them. Only in this way the safety of their children could be guaranteed.
For this question, the Fourth Head of the Wansu City didn’t answer immediately and glanced at the Black Family Patriarch. "How about your nephew, Silas?"
"Silas?" the Black Family Patriarch was surprised. Not many of his family members were selected to be the teacher for the new students even if they were capable enough. After all, his family’s reputation was not very good.
Thankfully, they all knew that these ghosts have nothing to do with the Black Family.
Otherwise the Black Family Patriarch would not know where to go and cry.
As for Silas...
That boy was only 16 years old right now but he had been active on the battlefield for a long time. Lately, he has been taking solo missions to deal with various magic beasts and his record was really good. Everyone from the Black Family was proud because of Silas’s ability and performance.
"I don’t mind, but how about the others?" The Black Family Patriarch glanced at the others, not sure how they would respond.
"I have no opinion." the White Family Patriarch knew the children’s relationship. Considering that both Aya and Evan had known Silas ever since these brats were very young, he had no interest to stop them from getting close to each other anymore.
If they were to be in the same team, Silas should take care of them well.
"I don’t have any opinion either." the Red Family Patriarch shook his head. He didn’t think that it was necessary for him to meddle in this matter. Whoever their teacher would be, it didn’t really matter to him since he knew that it would not be anyone from the Red Family.
After all, no one from the Red Family seemed to be suitable for this task.
"I’m fine with it." the Green Family Patriarch sighed.
Thinking that this boy used to be his sister in law’s student, it should be fine for him to be the leading teacher temporarily.
Anyway, when the children were strong enough to go on their own, there was no need for Silas to take them together.
Just like now, Nelia would also team up with Nathan, Nisa, and Silas temporarily when it was on the battlefield back then. But after the war was over, the three of them would take missions on their own while Nelia also had her own missions to do. Now, it was only Nathan and Nisa who were taking missions together while Silas was busy on his own.
