Chapter 189: Eating Together
Chapter 189: Eating Together
Silas heaved a sigh of relief after he saw Aya walked out. He looked at the utensil in front of him and started cooking. Even though he was not very good at cooking, it was still edible.
Soon, the food was ready.
Aya was sitting in the living room, looking around the room and used her crystal eyes to look through the things here. Seeing how some items were misplaced, Aya pursed her lips. She could guess that the Fourth Head of the Wansu City should send people here to find the list before their arrival.
No wonder Silas spent the entire night outside.
He should have known about it.
Who would like having someone mess around with their things?
At the very least, Aya is a private person and would not like it if someone entered her room or bedroom without permission.
Originally, she wanted to put the list here, but now Aya was hesitant.
What if Silas was suspected once more if the list was really found here but it was not found before?
Aya looked around and then saw the pile of scrolls at the side. She could see that those are the scrolls containing various basic dark magic of the black family. After some hesitation, Aya took out the list from the space scroll and put it there.
In this way, it would not look too obvious.
She didn’t know if someone had checked these scrolls before, but it should be possible for Silas to check it, right?
Aya hoped that this could help.
After it was all done, Aya sat down on her seat and waited for Silas to come out.
"Come here, it’s time to eat." Silas came out carrying two large bowls of fried rice. He couldn’t cook anything complicated, so his options were clearly limited. This fried rice was one of the few dishes that he could cook quite well.
It should suit Aya’s taste.
"Thank you, Brother Silas."
Aya looked at the bowl and then started eating quickly. It took less than one minute for Aya to eat everything and then she looked at Silas.
One bowl was far from enough for her.
Silas chuckled and pointed at the kitchen. "There’s still a lot there."
He himself also ate quite a lot, which was why he used a big bowl for himself. But compared to Aya who was a natural rice bucket, it was not comparable.
Aya nodded and went to the kitchen, she quickly filled the entire bowl with rice and then started eating once again.
After repeating this two more times, Aya finally felt quite satisfied.
Even if she was only 70 to 80% full, it was enough.
If she was too full, she wouldn’t be able to do any activities and this was clearly not allowed for Aya. A magic warrior had to be prepared to fight at all times.
"Now that you’re full, let’s go to your house. I’m not sure if your father is panicking because of your disappearance," Silas said.
Her father panicking?
Aya showed doubts on her face.
From what she knew, her father was too busy to even notice that she disappeared. Most of the days, she couldn’t even see her father.
However, she said nothing.
The two of them walked out of the Black Family Residence and headed to the White Family Residence. When they reached the gate, the guards both looked surprised.
"Miss, when did you get out?"
Aya passed a look at Silas as if she was saying, ’see?’
Silas shook his head and then said, "She’s coming out because she’s looking for food. I think that you need to prepare more food in your residence."
Hearing this, Aya’s eyes widened. She glared at Silas but she couldn’t refute it.
Could she possibly say that she sneaked out to accompany Silas?
Her father and uncle would beat her up for her inappropriate actions.
So even though Aya felt aggrieved, she could only follow along with Silas’s words. However, she silently noted this and swore that she would beat up Silas later during practice.
"Go inside." Silas smiled in amusement when he watched Aya’s expression. This girl is really funny. At one time, she would be very serious and looked mature but at other times, she would look very childish and looked like a little kid.
But Silas liked having such a student.
She made things fun.
"Come inside, Miss."
"Yes." Aya then ran inside, not caring about Silas outside anymore. She had wasted all night doing nothing, so it was time for her to meditate and make up for her practice.
Silas watched Aya’s back with a smile on his face.
He nodded at the guards and turned around.
The moment he turned around, the smile disappeared and Silas walked back to his home expressionlessly. No one came to bother him. Many of them had known what happened yesterday while some others didn’t know anything.
After arriving home, Silas locked the door and looked at his home that was clearly being checked.
He took a deep breath and the dark element in his body spread out little by little, covering the entire room. Through this, he would be able to detect everything that has been changed and things that not used to be there.
After a moment, his eyes moved to two places.
There was a monitoring device in his bedroom...
Did they think that he would keep things in his bedroom?
Thinking that the Fourth Head of the Wansu City would be sending someone to watch him when he was sleeping, Silas felt disgusted.
He decided to move his bedroom to another empty room.
After that, he moved his eyes to the stack of scrolls on the side. These scrolls were not particularly important because everyone in the Black Family had a copy. It was the basic dark magic scrolls and also some theories.
Since it was not important, everyone usually put it in the place where they could get it easily.
And...
’There’s a new scroll there.’
Silas walked to the batch of scrolls and looked at it. He rummaged for a moment before finding a somewhat different scroll. This scroll seemed to be faintly damaged and after a moment, Silas opened it.
Seeing the content, Silas’s eyes narrowed.
This shouldn’t be here.
Rafi had never been in his home.
So... does his mother put it here?
