Chapter 650: 457: Trouble Comes to the Home (Part 3)
Looking at this exit, blocking all the rats trying to escape, we will enter from here and then annihilate all the Rat-men, I will give you four machine guns to boost your firepower, remember, you must hold this position.
"No problem, I excel at this," Bobplane said.
Malin also knew that a young officer like him from the North was best at waiting in the trenches for Chaos to charge through.
Of course, with the upgrade of weapons, Chaos seldom reached their faces anymore.
But this young man was truly skilled at it.
"It’s up to you." After saying this, Malin turned his head to look at the commander of his factory guard’s third regiment, a young man who graduated from a small military school founded by Malin himself: "Silem, you hold that exit in the new district, don’t let them get out, remember, that is your starting point, and your end point, no stepping back."
"Yes, sir, our home lies just behind us," the young man answered Malin in an uneasy but resolute voice.
"Right, every one of us has our homeland right behind us." After speaking, Malin looked toward the elves: "You shouldn’t follow us in there, Mr. Ambassador, you are too tall, unsuited for combat in such confined spaces."
"Sir, you are right, I will have our clan assist our allies outside, but please do not shame my blade, let me follow you, at the very least, there should be one elf following in the footsteps of our allies," the ambassador insisted.
Malin eventually nodded at the ambassador’s persistence: "Then follow me, but I must say, the bullets and arrows flying over there might be just at chest height for you." After saying this, Malin spread his arms, and the Half-humans began to help Malin don his heavy armor infused with Electrum—for the first time, Malin voluntarily adjusted his height to enter the underground sewers.
"No problem, sir, we elves have our own armor; even though times have changed, I am no longer a White Lion Knight, but I believe my family’s armor will stay with me until the end of the world," the ambassador said, turning to start donning his armor with the assistance of his guards.
"While I must say that elven armor is too flashy, that is just the surface appearance, to be honest, we Dwarves, when we had a feud with them, didn’t have much of a way to deal with that kind of armor either," said the Great Craftsman, a Dwarf wearing his heavy sentry armor as he walked up to Malin.
"I’ve heard you have a Book of Grudges too?" Malin teased.
"How could we have such a thing, we Dwarves settle our grudges on the spot, only sissies would snivel and scribble grudges in that thing," the Great Craftsman laughed as his subordinates hung the flamethrower fuel tanks onto the hooks of his back armor, and then he took the flamethrower from his subordinates.
"That’s what I thought too, these uninvited nasties just need to be exterminated," Malin said, holding a Chainsaw Sword in his right hand and a 40MM caliber auto shot launcher in his left hand.
"What’s this?" The Great Craftsman expressed noticeable curiosity at the massive weapon.
"A gift from Lord Nameless, he said it’s a weapon forged by his kin, lending it to me for a bit of fun." While speaking, Malin sounded somewhat nostalgic, "Once it’s over, I will do my best to reverse engineer the blueprints."
"Your generosity is immense, Lord Malin!" The Great Craftsman exclaimed ecstatically.
If there is anything in this world that can make a Dwarf burst into joyous laughter, it is undoubtedly an entirely new and unseen blueprint.
