"Faye! Jessica! Watch my left and establish defenses on the spot!" Malin shouted loudly, she walked past the shield set down by Jessica, came in front of Jiaxi, and flipped over the Alien corpse in front of him.

"What in the world is this." Jiaxi looked at Malin with a surprised face, "I’ve never seen such a creature before, so fast, fearless, I feel like what I’m holding in my hand is too small."

"Size matters when it comes to these guys... this is..." Malin thought for a moment and decided to embellish a little, "this is a monster from my dreams, a rogue first-era biological weapon."

As she said this, Malin suddenly heard something; she turned her head and saw Maya grabbing a Facehugger by its tail. Cat Girl had caught the creature, and after confirming it was still struggling, she slammed it against Jessica’s shield, then electricity leaped in her hands, completely electrocuting the Facehugger.

"What is this now." Jiaxi frowned as he looked at the bug corpse Maya had tossed to the ground.

"Larvae, facehugger parasitism, you definitely don’t want to know what it feels like going down your esophagus." Malin walked over, picked up the bug corpse, took out her dagger, which suggested it should be weakened since the blade cut easily through its skin. Considering her own strength, Malin asked Faye and Jiaxi to try as well, and ultimately confirmed it was indeed weakened.

Without any surprises, there were shrieks from the basement, followed by shotgun fire. Fio stood at the door, covering Lorrin, and after chopping down an Alien, it came crawling out too.

Malin threw the incendiary rounds Faye tossed her into the basement, then shot a fireball in there.

As if hitting something, Malin didn’t look back, ran up the stairs swiftly, and watched Fio and Lorrin squash another Alien on the steps—Lorrin tied the Alien’s lunge with branches, and Fio chopped open its head.

Malin picked up the shotgun, knocked down the burning Alien that rushed out of the basement, the number 8 hollow point bullet tore open its forehead, then split its oblong head into shattered front and back segments.

After waiting a bit more, Malin looked toward Faye, who was manipulating an Earth Elemental to seal off the entire basement.

"Will the Magic Carpet burn?" Malin looked at Jiaxi, who shook his head, "It won’t, it’s been woven from fireproof material from the start."

"That’s a relief. We’ll go to another basement, clear the rooms on the right. After we clear the basement, we’ll go up from the left, clear the second floor, and confirm if there’s a queen." After saying this, Malin leaned against a room door, caught the incendiary round Faye threw, pulled the pin, pushed open the door, and tossed it inside.

"Hey, that’s the Chief’s office."

"Well, now it’s a sea of fire." Malin said and walked away as Lorrin shot down the Alien that came rushing out, and Fio quickly beheaded the Alien whose legs had been shot out from under it.

"We don’t have many incendiary rounds left, Malin, just four more." Seeing Malin looking like he was going to clear the room next to another door, Faye said somewhat anxiously.

"No problem, this one’s the archive room." Malin said with a smile, pushed open a slit, then threw the fireball in his hand in.

Closing the door, Malin turned and walked towards another door.

Lorrin, with his shotgun reloaded, stood ready at the door, with Fio and Blood Roar by his side.

"You know, your boyfriend is really cheating," Jiaxi said as he watched the Alien come out of the archive room fully ablaze, being toppled by two World Tree Saplings, he turned to his cousin.

Feeling somewhat dissatisfied.
