Chapter 177: Chapter 133: Boiling Point (V)
Sitting in his own garden, a prairie elf with red hair, red skin, and beautiful large eyes was swinging his little feet back and forth, clad in a short-sleeved shirt and shorts for summer, wearing flip-flops. His master was reading a small, thin book with a face full of joy and happiness.
Ever since coming into contact with prairie elves, the cruel master has grown increasingly fond of their appearance. Such adorable little creatures, seemingly harmless, yet capable of striking fiercely and venomously when desperate. Who wouldn’t like such darlings?
His servants were busy tending to his great garden, where huge flowers and fruits were flourishing thanks to the fertilizers.
A servant dressed in swan-feather garments approached, lowered his body, "Master, it has been confirmed that Malin Gaiate has appeared in the battle of Pamir City."
"Oh, let’s see what this little fellow is up to..." closing his eyes, the red-skinned prairie elf’s face broke into a smile, and upon opening his eyes, he hopped down from the recliner somewhat impatiently, "I want him to become my Chosen Champion, this kid is really too splendid."
"But Master, he’s just a child at phase ten."
"That has nothing to do with his strength. This child has a soul that fascinates, you call him weak, yet he has a heart of stone; you call him cowardly, yet he kills without blinking an eye; he’s been in that world for only a year and has already started changing the way wars are waged. I need a soul like that, a fascinating soul. I’m going to mark him, and if one day he changes his mind, I will personally crown him Champion!" He tossed the small book aside and looked at his servant, "Do we have any power in Pamir City?"
"No, Master, those frail mortals cannot comprehend your greatness," the servant said with utter humility.
"What a pity... Ah, I almost forgot, go to my dungeon and bring out those prisoners."
Watching his servant depart, the prairie elf, in the skin of the malevolent being, hopped back onto the recliner, sipping freshly squeezed juice from the garden’s fruits while waiting for his servants to drag the Paladins out of the dungeon.
After a while, his servant returned with the Guards, dragging up a few... things difficult to describe.
"Master, these are the last Paladins of the former Lord of Radiance in that world," the malevolent being’s servant introduced the first prisoner.
Its master, along with the two Guards, looked at the lump of flesh, all falling silent for a moment.
The servant ordered the Guards to take the lump of flesh away, then began introducing the second prisoner: "Master, this is from another world..." Before he could finish, the person being introduced started to scream frantically, "I believe in you! Oh, Great One! You are the only True God in my heart!"
The malevolent being was startled, dropping one of his flip-flops.
Understanding his master’s mind, the servant pulled out the short knife from his waist and stabbed it into the coward’s chest.
The great malevolent being did not need a coward as his follower.
After the Guards dragged the body away, the servant began introducing the third female prisoner: "This is Princess Marlene from the world of Mitalysia."
The one known as Princess Marlene had a beastly appearance, with large round ears and a beautiful, long-furred tail, her fluffy body showing no signs of a mental breakdown. Even though she had been captured for nearly ten years, the fury in her eyes was still enough to burn one alive... She was actually well-suited to be under Malin’s command, and as a lover, that wasn’t out of the question either.
So, the malevolent being spoke, "Mortal, I have a great mission to entrust to you!"
"Shut up! You Evil God! Even if you make me do a hundred advanced math problems every day! I will never submit to you! Bring it on!" the fluffy girl angrily interrupted.
The malevolent being turned to look at his servant.
"Master, you have ordered that the torture she finds most unbearable and detestable be used against this girl," said the Prince of Chaos in a soft voice.
The malevolent being recalled and found he had indeed said this, so reluctantly, he waved his hand, "Starting today, three hundred problems a day."
"Yes, my Master," the Prince of Chaos said, waving his hand as the Guards carried the Princess away, who let out a roar like a battle cry, "Kill me! Just kill me!!"
The malevolent being’s small vessel frowned and then turned to look at the last child being carried by the Guards, looking much like a small animal.
"Where did this come from? I don’t seem to have any recollection of it."
"This child’s father is from the world of Hidanisk," the Prince of Chaos replied.
"And the mother?" The malevolent being’s brow furrowed; he sensed something amiss.
"There is only the father. This race is called Enlaim, they are the servant race of the natives of Hidanisk and possess admirable Chaos resistance, very skilled in Spell Formations," the Prince of Chaos answered.
"Just the child’s father; was he spawned from a crack in the rocks?" the malevolent being kicked off his other flip-flop.
"The Enlaim have a pouch on their backs for child-rearing, where the young are nurtured. When we captured his father, we didn’t notice the child," the Prince of Chaos said, patting the little creature’s head, "Master, I think this little one is not bad. Since his father became your Chosen Champion and has already returned to his world, we don’t know what to do with this child. Should we leave it with Malin?"
After thinking for a moment, the malevolent being nodded, agreeing quite happily, "That’s the one! Cast this child into that world! And take him that axe as well. I want to tell the people of that world that Malin is under my favor, the blessed one! One day! He will be my Chosen Champion!"
