Chapter 1093: Section 684: You Know I Know Who is Who (Part 2)_3

Thus, Sudel and the soldier came to the window. Out of curiosity, Sudel and the wounded soldier leaned against the wall, trying to see what this deadly world would become.

Then they saw Chaos retreating, and in the distance, a massive army slowly approaching.

"What is that?" The young man looked at Sudel.

Sudel shook his head, expressing a certain helplessness.

"That’s an army of a friend of mine, although it’s a Khornate army." Malin said as he walked to the window.

Then, under the terrified gazes of the two young men, the battle flags held by the approaching army came into view, decorated with the blood-red iron fists, golden gears, and various Chaos Skulls.

"Gears, is it Dwarves?" The young man seemed to recognize the significance of these decorations.

Malin nodded: "They are Dwarves from a foreign land, he is a Great Demon of Khorne who particularly enjoys warring against Chaos."

At this point, Malin turned his head and smiled at Sudel: "I don’t need your faith, and don’t plead with me in the future. But those things you desire, I will help you with freely."

"Anything at all!" The young man’s eyes widened in astonishment.

"Yes, anything at all. But before hanging the nobles, I need to judge them first." With that, Lord Malin turned and headed downstairs.

"Milord, where are you going?"

"I am taking you to face those Chaotic ones and claim a blood debt from them." Having said this, Lord Malin, standing in front of the steps, smiled at them: "What say you, would you bear the banner for me?"

"Bearing the banner for you is my honor!" The young man swiftly ran towards Malin, and though Sudel was a step behind, he didn’t mind.

He simply approached Malin and spoke his anguish in the most humble of words: "Milord, I led everyone away from Copenhagen, but failed to bring them back here, I am guilty."

"If you call that guilt, I fear the staff at the command must be beyond redemption." Saying this, Lord Malin turned and headed downstairs: "Captain Sudel, follow me and remember, don’t let our battle flag be sullied."

"Yes, milord!" Filled with joy and excitement, Sudel went downstairs, took the cylinder containing the battle flag from the hands of a fallen battle standard bearer, unfurled it, and raised the Northern Army’s battle flag.

The news of Lord Malin’s return swept through the city like a tide, rallying more and more soldiers there whether veterans or recruits.

"It’s truly you, milord, I am overjoyed." Carmen, who arrived hearing the news, looked at Lord Malin with tears of joy.

"To follow you into battle, looking back now, is such an honor, we have now regained our honor, haven’t we?" Halsan, with his head still bandaged, had affixed a bayonet to his rifle.

However, there were still those who tried to drive the soldiers back to their lines, and several young nobles were running about, one even came up to Lord Malin, berating him.

"Are you guilty?" The lord asked him, with a question that seemed peculiar to everyone.

The young man scratched his head, a bit bewildered: "You’re the one who’s guilty!"

Everyone laughed, laughed at the audacity of the young man’s ignorance.

Until a middle-aged noble stepped forward through the crowd, he knelt directly in front of Lord Malin, struggling, trembling, and making a lifting gesture with his hands: "I am guilty, milord."

"Commit suicide, Earl, and confess to all the soldiers who died because of you." Lord Malin said thus.

Then, in Sudel’s eyes, this Earl caught the revolver which Lord Malin took from a soldier’s waist beside him, put the barrel in his mouth, and pulled the trigger.
