Chapter 1183: Chapter 636: Horrifying Upon Reflection! What on Earth Happened Last Night? (Please Subscribe)

The celebration for the FY team’s world championship victory lasted until over two o’clock in the morning.

Ding Yue drank merrily with the FY team’s players and coaches. He had quite a lot to drink that night, enough to leave him bewildered and his head heavy.

Finally.

Ding Yue had no idea how he got back to his apartment room. In any case, when he woke up around noon the next day, he found himself already lying in his own apartment room’s bed.

Even more absurd was that all his clothes had been stripped off, leaving him in just his underwear.

"Er!"

Ding Yue woke up still feeling dizzy, but he quickly became alert and began pondering a question about life.

Namely, how did he get back?

Could it have been Wen Ruohan, his secretary?

Ding Yue remembered that when he had drunk too much before, it was Wen Ruohan, his secretary, who had brought him back.

Could it be Wen Ruohan this time too?

But then, who took off his clothes? Could it also have been Wen Ruohan?

Sss!

The thought made Ding Yue involuntarily suck in a breath of cold air!

The next second, Ding Yue picked up his phone and made a direct call to his secretary Wen Ruohan.

The call connected.

No one answered.

"Could it be Xiao Wen?"

Ding Yue muttered to himself after putting down his phone.

Generally, his secretary Wen Ruohan rarely missed his calls, so Ding Yue guessed that there was only one possibility—Wen Ruohan had drunk too much as well and probably had not yet woken up.

So the question arose.

If it wasn’t Wen Ruohan who had brought him back to his apartment room, then who was it?

Could it be those two talented young pals of his?

Huang and Bin drank even more than Ding Yue last night, so that seemed rather unlikely.

Ding-dong-ding-dong!

Just as Ding Yue was trying to figure out who brought him back to his apartment room while drunk, his phone started ringing.

When Ding Yue picked up, he saw it was his secretary Wen Ruohan calling, probably because she hadn’t picked up his call earlier and was awakened by the ringing, then saw it was his call and was now returning it.

"Hello, Xiao Wen, did you just wake up?"

Ding Yue answered Wen Ruohan’s call and asked.

"Mhm, uh-huh, yes."

Over the phone, Wen Ruohan’s voice was clearly still groggy from just waking up.

"Oh, I woke up and found myself at home, I thought it was you who brought me back," said Ding Yue. "Alright, if you’re still sleepy, go back to sleep for a bit."

"Uh, Principal Ding, once I wake up, I usually don’t go back to sleep. Last night, I think I drank a lot, and it was... yes, I think Miss An brought me back."

Wen Ruohan explained.

"So that’s how it was. Do you remember who brought me back?" Ding Yue asked.

"Uh, I don’t know about that, everyone drank quite a bit last night."

Wen Ruohan spoke as if shaking her head.

Ah, this!

This was truly odd.

It wasn’t Wen Ruohan, and certainly not Huang or Bin—could it have been Miss An?

But that didn’t make sense either.

According to Wen Ruohan, Miss An had brought her back.

"Let’s not talk about it now, I’ve got another call coming in."

Ding Yue was on the phone with Wen Ruohan when another call came in, so he temporarily hung up and answered the incoming call from Bin.

"Hello, Bin."

After answering, Ding Yue asked, "Awake?"

"Yep, just woke up."

Bin responded on the phone.

It seemed that everyone had drunk until past two in the morning and then, after a good sleep, mostly woke up around noon.

"Yue, was it you who brought me back to my apartment room last night? And stripped off all my clothes, leaving just my boxers?"

Bin suddenly asked Ding Yue out of curiosity.

"What?"

On hearing this, Ding Yue was momentarily stunned.

"Yue, you didn’t do anything to me, did you? I remember you like pretty girls!"

Bin continued to speak.

"Bugger off, bugger off, go away, why would I be interested in you?"

Ding Yue immediately clarified, "I was even wondering if it was you and Huang who had brought me back to my apartment room. But I thought about it, and that doesn’t make sense either; you two drank even more than I did last night."

"Exactly, both Huang and I were drunk, when I woke up, lo and behold, I was just in my boxers sleeping. I thought it was you who had brought me back to my apartment room."

Bin said, utterly bewildered.

This made Ding Yue furrow his brows slightly—how could Bin’s situation be exactly the same as his own?

Both had drunk too much the night before, woke up at noon today, and then found themselves already in their beds at home, wearing only a pair of boxers. Could it really be such a coincidence?

"This is really strange."

Ding Yue muttered.

At that moment, someone knocked on the door of Ding Yue’s apartment room, accompanied by a familiar voice.

"Yue! Yue, are you up?"

It was Huang Youjie outside.

"Coming!"

Hearing the knock and Huang calling for him, Ding Yue headed over to the door of his apartment room. He said to Bin at the same time, "Huang’s here looking for me; I’ll ask him what exactly happened last night."
