"Why are you even in S Province?" Seeing Gu En, the surprise on He Zhilan’s face was genuinely unmasked, "Aren’t you in the capital?"

"Why would I care about where you are?" What is it, did you finally realize your failure these past couple of days, or are you scheming something malicious again in secret?"

After taunting Gu En, she saw his expression change and he glared at her angrily, but He Zhilan just curled her lip in disdain and said nothing.

He Zhilan didn’t know why Gu En had come; they weren’t friends but enemies. Meeting unexpectedly outside of the province, what was there to talk about? Knowing full well she wouldn’t give them a warm reception, yet they deliberately came in to find displeasure with her.

In the evening, He Zhilan was alone in the hotel until very late when He Teng finally returned.

"Where’s Kang Xing?" Seeing only He Teng, He Zhilan asked. In the afternoon, Xing Ye had said there was something and took Kang Xing away with him.
