Lin Chan gave her a bottle of perfume, which she placed on the bedside table. With a gentle press, the whole room was filled with a faint floral fragrance.

After tidying up and seeing the room full of her belongings, He Zhilan left her home satisfied to retrieve her four pots of plants from Chen Zheng’s house.

Having not seen them for a long time, the jasmine flowers had almost withered, but the mimosa was growing stronger. He Zhilan gently touched the leaves of the mimosa and laughed to herself, "You, oh you! Just like He Mutou, you only react when pushed into a corner!"

After resting for three days in the military, He Zhilan went back to work. Lin Jie had the capability to keep the translation agency busy with one job after another. Seeing He Zhilan’s room empty made He Teng’s heart skip a beat. He then went to his own bedroom, pushed the door open, and, seeing it filled with He Zhilan’s belongings, he finally breathed a sigh of relief.

After strolling around the room, the usually stoic face of He Teng lit up with a big smile.

He Zhilan had moved her belongings into his room, and she had been sleeping there these past few days!

This fact genuinely delighted He Teng deep down. After a walk around, he headed straight from the dormitory to his office.

"Hey He Teng, you really are our diligent little bee, back from an assignment and straight to the office?" said a colleague teasingly as soon as he saw He Teng in the office.

The teased He Teng simply took a seat at his desk and responded faintly, "I’m rushing to submit a marriage report."

"Oh~ A marriage report, huh!" his colleague exclaimed, nodding at first, thinking He Teng was talking about an assignment report. A few seconds later, he realized what was said, and his tone changed completely, exclaiming, "What! A marriage report! I say, He Teng! You’re getting married again? With whom?"

He Teng scornfully glanced at his colleague, "Who else? I only have one wife. Who else could it be?"

He Teng’s statement spread from colleague A to colleague B, then to colleague C, and in less than half an hour, the entire troop knew!
