He lifted his hand and rubbed his brow, "I don’t even know if I’ve truly reached the point you hoped for, to fall in love with you, but all these years, you’ve always been by my side. I keep trying to let you go, but I can’t."

His sudden outpouring of words surprised He Zhilan; her heart gradually calmed down, she lifted her eyes, and looked at He Teng earnestly.
