Zhilan He gave an embarrassed smile. Earlier, she had been unable to maintain her poker face, which was clearly evident. This was because the food that the Filipino servant had served was so exquisite that it was almost too good to eat.

"My family is from a small village in the south," Zhilan replied, her voice trembling slightly. She had a vague guess, could this Gu Ran before her be the daughter from the Gu family of the capital, who had gotten married abroad?

In the evening, Zhilan He and John stayed overnight at the manor, while the Irdo couple, who lived in the same town, left.

The next day, Zhilan didn’t see the two couples again, as they probably had to go to work during the day.

The Manor was very calm in the early morning. Mr. and Mrs. Orz personally took Zhilan to explore deeper into the manor. Only then did Zhilan learn that nearly a third of the land in the town belonged to the manor, and different plants were grown in various parts of it.

"The essential oil that Lihua gave you was extracted from the lavender field here, and the Bulgarian Rose Hydrosol was extracted from that rose garden. All of the essential oils and hydrosols from our manor are gifts from nature. We are honored to know that, like us, you also appreciate them," said Mrs. Orz.

Upon learning from Lihua that Zhilan wanted to take the essential oils and hydrosols back to her country, the Orz couple didn’t show any hesitation or resentment. They were childless, and in the future, the manor would be without an owner. Therefore, having young people interested in the manor was something the elderly couple found worth celebrating. They truly did not want their knowledge and skills to disappear from the world with their departure. So when Zhilan expressed her interest in learning, the couple willingly agreed to teach her.
