Look at the camellias planted by the professor, they are so beautiful!"

"The condition of Biyun’s cactus is not entirely her fault though. That day, Huang Cai mentioned to me that when Gu En was living with us, she occasionally saw Gu En pouring hot water into Biyun’s cactus. It’s already impressive that the cactus survived."

Zhilan did not share this with Biyun. If Biyun were to find out about it, who knows what she might do to Gu En.

When the professor returned from the kitchen with fruits, the two girls were looking at her camellias by the small window. "Without sunlight, the camellias won’t bloom. Most of the buds are wilting. There’s really nothing interesting to see. If you like them, come back to see them when it’s sunny and they’re blooming. Now, sit down and have some grapes."

"Thank you, professor!" The two said their thanks like obedient children and sat beside the professor, watching her.

"He Zhilan, I forgot to mention this to you earlier, but it’s urgent. Since you are going to your brother’s this weekend, I thought it would be better to tell you tonight. So, he asked me to find a trustworthy translator for him. The remuneration is substantial, so I thought of you."

The professor’s words took He Zhilan by surprise. She pointed to herself and stuttered, "Professor, you mean to have me as your friend’s translator? Isn’t that a bit inappropriate? I’m still a freshman. I’m afraid I might mess up your friend’s affairs, and then it would not only disappoint you but also put you in a bad spot with your friend."
