"This is what you’re worried about?" Tan Heqian patted his thigh and said, "I thought it was because of what I told her! Turns out it’s just about a photo!"

After speaking, Tan Heqian took two quick steps forward, put his arm around He Zhilan’s shoulder and said cheerfully, "It’s just a photo after all. I have plenty of them at home! If this one is lost, my mom can mail you another one! I can’t believe you’re upset about this, I thought it was because of what I told you earlier."

"I’m angry at myself for being careless and losing such a precious photo," He Zhilan bit her lip, "Are you sure your mom can mail you another one?"

"She could, but it definitely won’t be exactly the same as each old photo at home is unique. If we can find your aunt and uncle, you may get one exactly the same. We had two copies of the original photo, one for us and one for Lan Lin’s family." Tan Heqian shrugged his shoulders, "Don’t worry, it’s just a photo after all. My mom would surely send you one. You don’t know how much my mom cares about you. If you were standing in front of her right now, she’d probably cry and hold you tight."

Jiang Biyun and Chen Xiting, who had been trailing behind, heard Tan Heqian’s words and jogged to catch up. One of them grabbed each of Tan Heqian’s hands and asked, "What do you mean your mom, her aunt? What’s this riddle you’re talking about?"

Tan Heqian glanced at He Zhilan, instinctively shut his mouth and shook his head. Matters like these were personal, and it was natural that they didn’t want anyone to know; being kidnapped wasn’t something to flaunt about after all.

"Why do I feel like you two have some sort of secret? From what Tan Heqian said about your households, it seems like you two had known each other for a while. Tell me, are you two relatives?" Chen Xiting, disregarding any tact, hit the nail on the head.

While He Zhilan didn’t respond, Tan Heqian’s mouth remained sealed tight, as if it were locked.

Looking at the behavior between He Zhilan and Tan Heqian, if someone didn’t know He Zhilan was already married, they might think she and Tan Heqian were dating.

"We’ll talk about this another day." He Zhilan waved her hand to stop their teasing. She initially planned to tell Jiang Biyun and Chen Xiting about her situation, but seeing Zhou Hongjin waving at her from nearby, she decided to postpone.

"Senior Zhou is over there!" Chen Xiting looked in the direction He Zhilan was looking, saw Zhou Hongjin, and smirked at He Zhilan, "Senior Zhou has been looking for you these past few days, but you were not on campus."

All three knew Zhou Hongjin was a trustworthy person, so they felt reassured to leave He Zhilan alone with him while they went back to their dormitories.

When Zhou Hongjin saw He Zhilan noticed him and started walking towards him, he walked up to meet her. He stopped when he was in front of her, and with a slight embarrassment, he smiled and said, "Haven’t seen you for a while!"

He Zhilan nodded, "I didn’t stay on campus recently. My brother is in the hospital, and I go to take care of him whenever I don’t have classes."

"I see!" Knowing that He Zhilan’s brother was Lan Li’s comrade, Zhou Hongjin promptly asked about He Teng’s condition. After He Zhilan reassured him that her brother was okay, he steered the conversation to another topic.
