Because they arrived late, the bathhouse wasn’t as crowded. A warm shower somewhat revived He Zhilan.

Jiang Biyun, who was well acquainted with Gu En and Lin Deng, would not foolishly join Lin Deng in criticizing Gu En. So she simply laughed in response, and changed the subject, "Instructor, what are we going to do at the small auditorium tonight? We’re so tired today, we’re not going to train in the dark, are we? When they returned to the dormitory, Gu En was lying in her bed, grumbling unhappily. Seeing the trio return, Gu En slowly sat up. She was evidently tired, uncomfortable, and hungry.

"Instructor Lin Deng asked us to bring this for you." Jiang Biyun handed her the meal, casually asking, "Gu En, you’re pretty close with Instructor Lin Deng, aren’t you?"

"No shit, Lin Deng and I grew up together, I know him like the back of my hand." Evidently, the thoughtful action of Lin Deng preparing a meal for her made Gu En very happy.
