" He was an undeniably charming boy, I agree. He developed his superficial charm as a mask to cover up his lack of empathy and remorse. Talia really couldn’t understand why Lord Lockhart is trying to change every memory of Cyrus in her heart? What would he gain by it?

Talia pressed her lips together, gritting her teeth and her eyes reddened as tears brimmed in her eyes. She expected one thing and what was happening here is entirely different.

"I was trying to help you. But you’re as..." Lord Lockhart was going to say ’stupid’ but he held back. The one standing in front of him has entirely blocked him and is not willing to listen a single thing he is going to say.

Her love for Cyrus blinded her in the past and it still does. He didn’t know what to think of her. Both of them had a weird connection that no one can explain. She really has something. Otherwise how would she have survived a psychopath?

The doctor wasn’t sure but he said there is a higher probability that he might be a psychopath. He consulted two more doctors who were top in their fields and they came to the same conclusion too. So he became more cautious in handling him.

But then she came in his life... The precious little princess... He became a Knight and his violence greatly reduced. The first time he had seen his son showed any sign of empathy towards someone was when he asked Mrs. Wallace not to pinch the little princess since it would hurt her. As a father, he was felt very blissful that day. He thought that the doctors were wrong. That his son is just a normal kid who acts up sometimes.

His wife passed away and he thought Cyrus would get affected more, but in the end what he feared didn’t happen. His son was always the Knight, carrying the Princess around and he felt solace amidst the grief of losing his wife.

Cyrus grew up... Mostly under the supervision of Jerome Brunton and he grew up to be a charming boy. He was extremely smart and had a very high IQ. When his son returned from S- country when he was twenty three, he had grew up to be a fine man and he could handle the Lion Heart security firm very well, even he was surprised. He had already forgotten what was told by the doctors by then.

He never was that attached with him and didn’t want to return home because he didn’t want to get reminded of his mother.

But then suddenly he turned violent and he heard he almost killed a guy because he suggested that Cyrus had attraction towards Talia.

His heart broke. And he started observing him more. He realised his son... Indeed was hiding his violence behind that beautiful blue eyes that always reminded him of his wife. That he was a beast hiding in a human form.

He feared for Talia and talked to Jerome and Jerome laughed and said he was wrong. He wished to be wrong.

And as if he actually was wrong, Cyrus turned soft once more. He was insanely smart and the way he handled every project in his company had made him proud as a father. He kept the doubts he had about his son deep in his heart. He started seeing him as his biggest support... His heir!

And then... He died. And that too in the hands of the little princess he protected.

As a father, he felt aggrieved. He was enraged and he blamed her. She was the one who took his support. She killed his blood! And he wanted vengeance.

That was the biggest fault of his. If only he took deep breaths and investigated properly. Of only he talked to her... He could have solved the murder case of his son in days. His son’s actual killers wouldn’t have lived for a decade more.

Even after a decade, it was she who gave the important details about his son. No one knew his son had two phones. No one knew the meanings of the tattoos he had. But this little princess knew... His princess...

But his son... He was unworthy of her love.
