That evening there was a dinner with all the nobles who attended the hunt and Talia using her sickness as an excuse, decided not to attend. Although she felt better immediately after she left the hunting grounds away from the sounds of popping rifles, she didn’t feel like meeting those people then. No one asked her twice to consider attending the dinner either. She thought it was Louis who had ordered no one to disturb her.

Her great grandmother sent a special strengthening soup from her kitchen and Talia had to bear with it and drink it although she didn’t like even the smell of it. She was under strict orders from the Dowager not to get down from her bed for two days.

Turns out it was under the Dowager’s orders she was placed under strict House arrest / rest, restricting her movements around her place.

Talia wasn’t that affected by this affectionate command but felt bad since she couldn’t go meet her Grandpa for two days.

She felt bored lying in the bed without moving around. So she checked her phone. She wondered what happened with the body language expert Fred boasted about. Whenever she asked about it, he always circumvented around that topic and made her forget about it. When she pushed him one day, he said that the expert didn’t even post the video yet and although she didn’t trust his word much, she didn’t bother as she didn’t care that much about it.

Talia decided to check about that body language expert at least in her other videos. She didn’t know her name but she immediately found out about her since she had actually posted about the press meet Talia did together with Arthur. Talia watched that fifteen minutes video that was composed with some pictures taken at the meet and video clips, along with the commentary of the expert who went by the name Dr. Rosenbaum.

Talia went through the comments of that video, listening to the expert and it was filled with various opinions, positive and negative. Most of the comments were claiming Arthur to be theirs and Talia wondered where that came from.

She remembered how distressed he was when he came looking for her that day trying to explain himself. She had already decided that Fred hid that her Grandpa was very sick from her while acting all cuddly with her and she was so mad, she didn’t even care to look at his face.

I’m very selfish, cruel and very ready to judge someone or something without caring for the truth at times.... Even today I did that with Lambert. I’m willing to throw away people very easily.

Talia felt bad about her character. She wished she could change that about herself.

The expert concluded saying that Arthur is in love with Talia whether he knows or not and he cares for her more than he thinks. She guessed that Talia is not that fond of Arthur and only cares more for her grandfather’s company and maintains a platonic relationship with Arthur.

Talia scrolled through her channel and found other videos about them and in one video explained how Arthur is highly unhappy with Sophia and how distant he is with her.

After watching some of the videos, Talia closed her eyes. For her it seemed like Arthur let’s out his love for her more apparent than she is. It made her wonder if she actually loves him that much.

Whenever there is trouble, she had ran away from him. She had never fought to be with him, while he only waited for her patiently.

But then she shook her head to get off that thoughts.

Of course I love him. I could not imagine a life without him. I’m just not very expressive, that’s all!

Talia took a short nap as she felt weird in her heart after reflecting upon herself. She realised how very selfish she’s been acting all along. She knew thinking negatively about herself will never lead to a good outcome since it always leads her to depression, and so she took a nap.

After all, like Fred said, she is just twenty six and she still has time to learn and change her ways. She has to learn a lot and mature a lot.
