The next day Talia when Talia woke up it was nearly noon. The entire household was listening to the Presidential address as President Carter congratulated the special law enforcement personnel and everyone involved in bringing down the notorious cartel Ruby Panthers.

The President also thanked the townsfolk of Wolfpine for their wholehearted support in the operation. President Carter also thanked the intelligence agencies of Esteria and Rosandale who provided with valuable informations that greatly aided in bringing down that ruthless hooligans who caused great harms to the valuable citizens of A Country. He also wished for the future good relationships between the three great nations.

"He just secured his second term in the Presidential office!" Clint said as he poured whisky in his coffee.

Talia looked at Clint who was clearly disappointed. But he is right. With this great victory and the deal with Rosandale and the new company deal signed by Northern Star, President Carter did secure his second term in office.

"You did this!" Clint pointed his finger at Talia and Talia just blinked her eyes.

She played a part; a bait to be precise in capturing the cartel.

"Talia, You put Becky in danger!" Talia heard Joe’s accusatory voice and she rolled her eyes.

"You brought danger to our doorstep!" Sally placed Little Mark’s sandwich plate hard on the dining table making a clinking noise.

Joe knew Sally is holding herself from cussing and shut up. He didn’t want to be thrown out in the cold once again.

Sally is right though. If he had listened to Rebecca, he’d have known Stacy is dangerous and he wouldn’t have brought her with him.

Talia ate her brunch and brought Rebecca’s lunch to her room. She heard a call from the police station informing them that there are swarms of reporters outside their property and asked them to be careful.

That entire day, both Talia and Rebecca spent their time in the room with their phones.

Rebecca continued to write a script of her own that resembled every action movie ever. Talia didn’t doubt it though. Talia knew it won’t be long for people to find out about her and when they find out about her, the people from Esteria will definitely bring out her past.

"Hey Rebecca, when people find out about me... what I did to Cyrus, they’ll come after you too since you’re my friend. I won’t mind it if you feign ignorance about my past. You can also opt to distance yourself from me at least in public. Otherwise it might affect Feldstein Associates and your private life. Although you can handle the paps, there still might be dangers around, " Talia felt the need to explain it to Talia.

Rebecca took a deep breath as she pondered. She knew Talia is right. There are many advantages in being friends with people like Talia and there are disadvantages too.
