Driving past the school gate, Max gazed at the grand three story building with anticipation glinting in his eyes.

Similarly alighting from their vehicles or walking into the building. Everyone dressed expensively casual, with either hoodies, pullovers, or jackets to ward off the cold due to the fact it rained earlier.

Globally, there wasn’t school today. But they were here because it was customary, and traditional- Holding an Educational Seminar on the last week day before the exam week.

"Yo dude, looking lit."

"I heard only three hundred of these sneakers were made last year. Don’t be surprised, I was able to acquire one too."

"Looking pretty Cecil."

"I know right? But you look even more gorgeous."

"Dude you bought a new ride?"

"Cool!"

Naturally glazing each other, they shook hands, exchanged hugs and began walking together.

Flipping back his hoodie, Max popped his hands inside its pocket before walking forward, joining the fray.

Five minutes later.

"Another exclusive place we only get to visit thrice a year." a boy muttered, patting his friend who similarly did the same as they both took in the sight of the grand dark lit theater.

Behind them, Max calmly waited for them to move out of the way. And when they did seem to realize they were obstructing the part of several others behind them, they quickly descended wanting to claim the few middle row seats remaining, since the frontal ones were indisputably for Class 1 and 2.

Stepping inside the theatre, Max’s eyes roamed the unoccupied seats.

Skipping the frontal and middle rows, the seats at the edge of the back rows were already occupied. Leaving the mid section empty, however those seats were soon going to end up taken if he didn’t act fast.

Walking to the third of the back row, he filled one of the five unoccupied seats remaining there. Leaving his phone on the seat right next to him as a sign that it was reserved. He silently willed on the Holographic screen to appear in order to kill time.

’I’m fully booked.’ Glancing to see two unfilled Tasks, he remembered the System stating he could only receive two Tasks at a time.

’ The earlier I clear it, the better.’

Willing for the screen to vanish, he watched as a young man who seemed to be in his late twenties stepped up the stage. Causing the already dark lit theatre to turn pitch black for a moment. And then the whole stage lit up with a focused light, being the only source of light in the Theatre.

Surprisingly, the bright light was from a projector. And soon several graphics were projected, joining to play an introduction video.

"Hi, My name is Johnathan Steve."

"Some of you might know me and some might not."

"But- Not to be arrogant, I believe you all know me. Because statistically, Sophomores spend a minimum of at least 4 hours on social media daily. And as a rising global star in Microchip implant production..."

It paused, the man on the stage then turned and pointed at the projected graphics.

"I’ll only be spending 1 hour thirty minutes of your time today as a Chief Speaker-"

However, interrupting not only Max’s focus but those among the back rows.

A Zoologist Moth[1] fragrance waffled into his nose. Making heads turn, he felt a soft pat on his shoulder.

But upon realizing who it was, his furrowed brows softened.

Silently taking back his phone from the seat, he could feel many eyes focus on them.

"It seems I came later than intended ?" She whispered, taking the seat next to him.

Tilting a bit to take in her appearance.

She was wearing a short black vintage casual dress with long puff sleeves. A black cross necklace latched her neck.

Glancing at her legs, she was wearing thin black lace stockings that dulled the attraction of her contrasting snow white skin. And a pair of heavy black boots.

Smiling as she noticed his observation, she seemed not to care of the other eyes tracing her features, and whispered into his ears.

"Don’t act mute, you like what you see?"

’Right , I don’t need to play mute this time.’

Ignoring the jealous glance from the surrounding seats, he smiled.

"Hot?" He complimented, faking a thoughtful look.

"You don’t look bad yourself." Whispering, she moved closer-

"So what’s your crazy plan?"

In response, he smiled and withdrew with a nod.

’Taboo Wish Grant: I wish to be unseen and unnoticed while carrying out my heinous Taboo act.’

After intense deliberation, he figured out how to speak in the System’s language in order to properly activate his wish.

And just as he did,

Ding! The system holographic screen appeared.

Not hesitating, he willed on the yes option.

And when he did, he felt the whole world being blanketed in silence. Or perhaps it was just his ears that had turned dumb.

But glancing to his side, he saw those that had been observing them tilt their head elsewhere with look of disinterest. Then it was like they didn’t exist.

"Fuck!" He cursed but no one seemed to pay attention to him, except from Wu Lian, the Asian gothic girl beside him, ehi revealed a funny expression.

A timer appeared, causing him to pause ashr realized what I meant.

Letting go of his restraint, he used one swift motion to draw Wu Lian close.

"Ah" she let out a slight gasp in surprise. Feeling her body pressing against his chest, and his face only an inch away.

Instantly, her playful expression broke.

Realizing that the people around them must have turned to glance at her.

She wanted to instantly break free.
