In the void, 7 different fleets launched a simultaneous attack on the Essence Luxuriant World’s fleet from various directions.

Their opening strike consisted of 2 streams of Seventh Order energy with no fanfare. It tore through the void and struck directly at the fleet.

Yet despite such a fierce onslaught, the 7 mid-scale Star Ships under Kou Chongxue’s command, tasked with guarding the main fleet, did not charge ahead to intercept the attack. Instead, the main fleet shifted their positions once again, maintaining their battle formation around the 2 largest ships. They moved to form a circular configuration, creating the Yin Yang Extremity Battle Formation. As their defensive formations activated, the protection barrier around them merged in the void to form a massive rank seven grand formation!

That... Was the handiwork of Chu Jia. She managed to extend Shang Xia’s Yin Yang Extremity Battle Formation into a large-scale battle formation.

But even that wasn’t enough. Just as the surges of Seventh Order energy were about to strike the main fleet, a misty glow surged forth. A massive cloud fortress materialized in the void, enveloping all 8 Star Ships within its protective embrace.

Accompanied by intense energy shockwaves and terrifying spatial tremors, the giant fortress was instantly torn apart and scattered like smoke. The weakened waves continued downward, striking the combined formation of the main fleet.

The circular formation of the eight Star Ships was violently disrupted by the spatial blast, and their protective barriers weakened until they were finally broken through.

Though the defensive barrier of the main fleet was shattered, none of them suffered serious damage. However, the mid-scale Star Ships that were towing the Azure Qing World were hurled backward by the overwhelming force. They rolled about in the void toward the Azure Qing World, seemingly about to fall into the turbulent void currents.

At the critical moment, the 6 chains at the stern of those ships, used to drag the Azure Qing World, suddenly flared with intense light.

The chains were connected to the World Origin Source of the Azure Qing World. As they drew on the world origin to stabilize themselves, they corrected their trajectory. They also drew on the larger ships for support and maintained their course.

Meanwhile, several cultivators from the Spirit Mammoth World, along with 2 weaker fleets, combined their secret techniques to muster Seventh Order energy. Taking advantage of the disrupted Essence Luxuriant World’s fleet, they attempted to strike a decisive blow.

Too bad for them, Kou Chongxue had already arranged a defensive formation with the 7 ships under his command, ready for their assault.

Tossing the Origin Star Robe off his shoulders, it transformed into a massive formation that enveloped all 7 ships. The 7 Variant Talisman runes were imprinted into each of the ships and eventually, a massive sea of Star Fire was produced. The sea of flames rushed at the incoming enemies.

Sensing danger, the Spirit Mammoth World’s fleet quickly withdrew, exposing the others to counter attack.

The sea of Star Fire exploded in the void, swallowing 6 smaller ships. Some of them were burned to nothingness on the spot as everyone on board was either killed or gravely wounded. Apart from a few True Immortals and Martial Dipper Realm experts with life-saving treasures, practically no one survived. 2 bursts of energy erupted in the void as 2 True Immortals fell, and at least 2 more were critically injured.

It was then that the Spirit Mammoth World’s ships, which had just retreated, launched a renewed assault. Passing their destroyed allies, they launched the Thousand Mammoth Pearl and supported its advance with the 3 ships. Their target was the lead ship which was controlled by Kou Chongxue’s External Avatar!

Though they paid a steep price, the Essence Luxuriant World lost 1 of their 7 ships in their strike fleet. Specifically, the lead ship controlled by their leader, Kou Chongxue’s External Avatar! The sudden loss plunged the remaining ships into temporary disarray.

The ships of the Spirit Mammoth World quickly accelerated, clearly intending to capitalize on the chaos and widen the gap, while the True Immortals on the remaining ships realized they could no longer communicate with Kou Chongxue’s External Avatar.

At the critical moment, one of the runes detached itself from the wreckage and raced through the battle formation to merge with the ship piloted by Huang Jinghan.

With 2 runes embedded in it, the ship groaned ominously, emitting a terrifying series of creaks and cracks, but ultimately did not collapse. Instead, the power it contained surged dramatically.

The transfer of the rune also signaled that Huang Jinghan would now lead the 6 remaining ships. At the same time, it hinted at grim odds for the survivors of the destroyed ship, likely including Kou Chongxue’s External Avatar.
