Chapter 202 - 202: The Divinities

[3rd POV]

"Gwen? You did it!" Miles yelled in surprise as he landed next to her glowing figure, noticing that she was still holding the Spot's defeated form in her hands, his form still unconscious as she looked to Miles.

"Yeah well, he wasn't that hard to defeat in the first place. It was all about the timing, which all of you helped perfectly with" Gwen replied with a smile underneath her mask, her skin glowing gold, as she knew she would be whisked back home soon, and once that happened Miles and the others would have to deal with...all of this.

"Why're you glowing?" Spider Punk asked on the side, as Gwen chuckled.

"I'm being sent back to my multiverse. I can't stay here for long, not right now at least. That's just the way things work, but I'll be back sooner or later, that much I am certain of" Gwen replied with a smile, still gripping Spot in her hand, before the glow began to brighten.

Seeing this, Gwen's symbiote reacted to her will, as she grabbed a bracelet device and tossed it to Miles, who caught it.

"What is this?"

"That's the information on how to stop these universe ending events, should this not be caused by the Spot. It'll be up to all of you to get the technology needed in order to stop them, at least, until I can make my way back here" Gwen said, as Miles's eyes widened, looking at the bracelet in a new light, upon realizing how important it was.

"It also has information on how to train your powers more, all of them. The spider senses that we spiders have is more than just a simple sixth sense, and I hope that all of you will look into properly training it beyond its normal applications" Gwen added, knowing that spider senses was incredibly important for their growth. And was severely underestimated by the Spider People of the greater multiverse.

"I-thank you for all of this Gwen, it-it means a lot" Miles said with a grateful expression on her face, as Gwen began to feel the pull on her being increased more and more, as the glow surrounding her began to brighten more and more.

"Not a problem Miles. And good luck!" Gwen said as the glow coated her entire figure, Miles looked confused at the words, only to stop as he heard the increasingly close sirens and realized he was surrounded by a ton of Spider People.

And that, he could only say one thing as Gwen was whisked off.

"Ah...crap"

Back in Gwen's home multiverse, within her office, she reappeared in a bright flash of golden light. She blinked a few times in adaption to her powers returning to her, before glancing down at Spot who was still unconscious, but was seemingly growing close to waking up.

Without giving him even a moment of time to wake up fully, dark shadows surrounded him, consuming him moments later, as Gwen breathed out, feeling his power enter her. It was...interesting, having a deep connection to these portals in not just her multiverse, but seemingly even in the "MCM" as she had dubbed it.

'...Looks like I'll be experimenting more with these portals than I had initially expected' Gwen had thought, as she realized the uses of this portal was more extensive than she had initially thought, as she could feel the unique dimension she was now connected to, a dimension that had seemingly been fine tuned to the multiverses she had traveled to so far, her space stone acting in response at the same time, growing the power of the dimension. As it wasn't just a dimension, it was basically her, she was now a walking talking portal, just like The Spot, but stronger.

With her having this new power, and the TL tickets that had already been turned into 2 SSL tickets, Gwen didn't even hesitate to claim all 52 SSL tickets that she had been saving up for the last several months, as she prepared herself for the power that would begin to flood into her being.

Looking over the characters, Gwen's eyes widened in surprise. The Percy Jackson characters were...great. More than great in fact. Each of them being Gods, Titans, or Primordials of either one, or several concepts. Ranging from small things like pathways, to big concepts like magic, destruction, Night, etc.

And now she would be the God/Titan/Primordial of them.

She wondered the sort of reaction this would bring from the native Gods and Divine powers that were already in charge of those concepts, and she had a feeling that it might bring some...less than fun conflict to her door. Especially with the Greek, should they feel what she had done, and what she was.

She hoped that it wouldn't cause too many issues, as while they certainly wouldn't be able to kill her, Gwen knew that the Gods would be a huge threat to the city, and would be very irritating to deal with.

She also noticed Juggernaut and Maestro, who she found to be good additions. But it was Slaanesh that really got her attention, as she knew that the Prince of Pleasure was immensely powerful, but also...quite the interesting person. She wasn't sure how she felt about gaining the memories of such a being, with how immensely evil it was.

She honestly would have preferred Papa Nurgle.

Although she was certainly interested in visiting the Universe that only knows Chaos and War. For there were various technologies there that interested her, and she was very interested in consuming some of the beings there. Hell, she even thought the prospect of meeting the God Emperor to be interesting.

She just wondered how they'd react to mutants, with them being humans but with evolved genealogy.

'Hmm, something to think about, that's for sure. As if I can get away with it, perhaps absorbing the Big Emperor himself could be a good route to go down, and then I will be him, so perhaps they'd still follow me? I'll have to contemplate that though' Gwen hummed, as she looked over the rest of the characters, wondering what she'd get from Mira Yoo, as she knew that towards the end of God of Highschool she got quite powerful.

But that was for later, as she breathed in and decided to assimilate the new power.

And the second she did, her eyes shot wide, as her gaze began to expand, and the divine power within her...began to boom with power. The surroundings shaking and quivering with might as she controlled it to just the room she was in at the moment, not wishing to scare the shit out of her billions of citizens.

She could feel the new power within her, the new memories, the new knowledge. It was...immense, perhaps more than any other assimilations he had done up until this point. Billions of years of knowledge entered her at mass amounts, and she could feel her power grow.

But she could also feel the powers of others similar to her. The gazes of entities who preside over the concepts she was gaining power in, their overwhelming might in them, might that exceeded her own current power in them.

None more so than Death, Destruction, Earth, and the Night itself. She knew that the Nyx of this multiverse was...dangerous, far far far above her in power. A being that could obliterate the multiverse at her very peak. And even at her weakest, she could destroy galaxies with ease.

Gwen felt no fear before the gazes, but instead just looked back, and smirked slightly, uttering only two words in response to the glares that were situated upon her. And those words were...

"Fuck off"

So Gwen is back in the main multiverse, she has gotten a huge power boost, and is now in the line of sight of various Divinities. She'll be doing a lot more in the next few Chapters, as she'll be meeting her first Avenger in person.
