Chapter 74: The Faster, The Better...
After her full evolution, Mira would emerge, stronger, radiant, wielding new abilities—her power a boon to Earth’s inhabitants, boosting their talent and compatibility with soul energy, a ripple effect that would reshape their world.
"Do it fast, my dear Mira," Deus murmured, his voice low, a mix of pride and command. "The faster you evolve, the better it’ll be for you and Earth’s people as a whole..."
His silver hair glinted, his muscular frame relaxed, his gaze soft but intense, fixed on where her cocoon had vanished.
His eyes shifted to Ivana, still deep in sleep beside them, her youthful body curled, her white hair splayed, her perky breasts rising with slow breaths, her pussy still sore from his earlier pounding. He sighed, a faint smirk tugging his lips. He’d underestimated her limits, thinking her 5-star Souler strength could handle more, but she’d be out till morning, her body overwhelmed by her first time.
’Fragile little mortal,’ he thought, his gaze lingering on her flushed face, her beauty serene in slumber, untouched by the cosmic spectacle of Mira’s evolution.

The next day, Deus woke to the smell of delicious food filling the air, a savory warmth that teased his senses, pulling him from sleep. Ivana was long gone from the bed, her spot cool, her presence replaced by the mouthwatering aroma wafting through the room.
The scent was rich, meaty, laced with herbs, and it stirred a hunger in him, divine or not. He couldn’t help but anticipate what Ivana and her cooks were whipping up, his mind already savoring the mortal pleasure of a good meal.
His thoughts drifted to his plans. Strengthening Earth’s inhabitants was his mission as Guardian God, and wandering the world to boost their soul energy seemed logical. But he wasn’t done here in the Great Lumen Empire.
He planned to grant more beast souls to its talented citizens, forging stronger warriors before moving on. And then there was Mira, still deep in her evolution cocoon, pulsing underground with green light and raw power. He needed her — her unique abilities as a goddess complemented his, handling tasks his divine strength couldn’t touch. As the goddess of earth she can perform stuffs in Earth which he’s incapable of doing, even with all his powers. .
Waiting for her to emerge was smarter than rushing off, her evolution a key to Earth’s future.
While he waited, he’d dive into other mortal pleasures. Sex piqued his interest most, sure, but there were other things—food, music, maybe even mortal games—that caught his curiosity, worth experiencing as a god among men.
Deus took a deep breath, the delicious aroma pulling him up. He walked without hesitation toward the kitchen, his bare feet silent on the tiled floor, his silver hair shimmering in the morning light, his muscular body moving with godly grace.
Food wasn’t necessary for a god, but why deny himself the joy of mortal flavors? The closer he got, the stronger the scent—cooked ground meat, onions, garlic, a savory blend that made his mouth water.
In the kitchen, he found Ivana alone, her cooks nowhere in sight. She wore a simple top, snug against her perky breasts, the fabric hinting at her dark nipples, and a tight, short jean skirt that hugged her big but perfect ass, barely covering her thighs.
An apron tied around her waist, its strings accentuating her hourglass figure, her white hair pulled back loosely, a few strands framing her flushed face.
She was focused, stirring a saucepan, pouring a steaming broth of ground meat, onions, and garlic into a flour mixture cooked with melted butter. The sizzle and steam filled the air, the rich aroma wrapping around him, a mortal craft he didn’t know but damn sure appreciated.
He watched her, silent, her hands deft as she whisked the mixture, letting it cool briefly before whisking again, smoothing it out. She added Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper, her movements precise, almost ritualistic.
Then she poured a thick gravy over meat and vegetables in a skillet, stirring it to combine, the scent growing even richer, a promise of something hearty and new. Deus didn’t recognize it —but the smell alone told him it’d be fucking good, a mortal dish he’d never tasted but was eager to try.
He couldn’t hold back anymore. "What you cooking?" he whispered, stepping close, his breath hot against her ear, making Ivana jump, a shiver running through her.
She hadn’t noticed him, too lost in her task, and his sudden presence startled her, her cheeks flushing a deep red.
"Shepherd’s Pie," she said, her voice soft, a blush spreading, her eyes darting away, embarrassed by his closeness, his casual tone catching her off guard.
"Huh? Weird name for a food, huh?" Deus said, a slight smile tugging his lips, his glowing eyes glinting with amusement. The name bewildered him, sounding odd for something that smelled so damn good. Mortal food names were strange, but he liked the quirk, his curiosity piqued.
Ivana stayed quiet, her lips pressed, her silence a shield. She felt weird, unsure, thinking whatever she said might be twisted against her.
Deus’s casual vibe threw her off — she figured he’d used her for sex, a god toying with a mortal, ready to toss her aside when he was done. Little did she know, Deus’s thoughts were the opposite. Since fucking her, he’d claimed her as his woman, mortal or not. His divine essence could evolve her to godhood, her body and soul molded to sate his needs, a bond he saw as eternal, not fleeting. She’s his and his alone.
Her silence was exactly what he wanted, a blank canvas for his perverted plans.
With a wicked grin, he traced his hands along her curves, starting at her hips, gliding up her waist, his fingers firm but teasing, feeling her tremble under his touch.
He leaned closer, his lips brushing her nape, whispering sexily, "I mean, isn’t there a better name out there than calling it Shepherd’s Pie?"
