Chapter 213: The Role of Loki

Grammarly has been bugging out lately, so I can't iron out the grammar that well, I'm sorry.

In one of the remaining inhabited islands at the point of the battle between Urduja and Loki.

The time loop's mandate for the two has been postponed for around 5 seconds due to the time loop having its "thoughts" muddled due to the explosion of dark magic within the structure of the loop itself.

Knowing this, the two calamitous beings with a friend-foe relationship over the hundreds or even a thousand times the two have been looped have stopped fighting and dilated their time perception by having their brain wired in battle mode.

I can try destroying the loop, but I'm not creative enough and am not bold enough to look time in the eyes and say that I shall destroy it. Sophia explicitly called time an idiot, you know.

"Yes, there's come the second part of the plan: unlike Sophia of this time, it's obvious that the god of the distortion world is someone who have better control of dark magic, he have perfect control of it after all, so what he did is to make the time loop think that I am supposed to always go in the side of the demigod of time even though my true role is just to become the demigod of darkness and be inside Thanatos because I tried it to stop being sealed by Aerendil and failed, after that I would inject suggestions to Eris in order for her to perceive anything that are created by the last Sophia as normal or not find any evidence on her suspicions, the estimated time where the illusion will finally get saturated enough to muddle the time loop's perception of itself for 5 seconds... this is the reason why time didn't found me but instead my father because in essence, he was the one that put me away from my destiny, and I even got it right by putting Arachne there in my place, having Hebi be by the side of Eris alongside me and then fighting you."

Loki again paused as he revealed himself being the round character and being at the side of Eris at the end, Urduja described it as being Sasuke Uchiha and it's probably because he thinks he will just be a servant of Sophia forever.

After Urduja nodded, Loki continued.

"Lastly, using the dark magic, or antimatter divinity given to Siginarugan, the god of undead will forget about all of this so that Eris will not be able to use time against him and to prevent accidentally divulging the information of his plans, he also did this to his mother and Sinag who knew of this plan."

Urduja nodded slowly, but soon furrowed her brows.

"Then... did Sophia know of all this? In the time loop it was said that Sophia knew that after the fight with Aerendil, Sophia have been informed that she is the one destined to fight Eris... but if Paraluman can't remember this matter, how did she informed Sophia that you are not an enemy?"

Loki smiled at this as Urduja finally realized the inconsistency of the whole matter, Sophia's seemingly profound knowledge of the deception plan against time.

"Ah, for your question, Sophia definitely is unaware of the god of the distortion world's plan, there is no way an illusion from the origin of all trickery can be bypassed by a mortal... and for you second question, apparently all Sophias will have a unique skill with 100% chance of telling her what she wanted... but I doubt that she asked "how to defeat the time loop" because you can't defeat it."

Urduja frowned at this and again asked.

"Then, what did Sophia asked?"

Loki smiled at this question and shook his head.

"Hmm... she knew that I'm not an enemy and based on her plans, it's either she let me be because so that our fight can commence, or she asked her "Perfect Simulation" on who I am... I'm leaning on the latter because she didn't even blocked me while I was flying around her airspace.... but that also leaves the question, how would she destroy the time loop after all this, even given what she was about to do to Thanatos."

Loki's face is full of interest and confusion as he knew that the best way to destroy the time loop is to somehow make the dictator of time be in a passive position, but the problem is, Eris can make people's time stop completely.

"Look, let's watch, the 5 second's almost up."

Urduja nodded at this and got ready to pounce at Loki to "fight".

And as they did, they hear a large, illusory shattering sound.

It came from the direction of the worst lose of the undeads during the continental wars.

The sealed Haven of Death, the Land of Thanatos.

Aerendil and Roselle looked at the huge barrier that encloses the whole of Thanatos, inside were undeads stopped right on their track, never to move, never to feel.

The two most powerful undeads of Sophia looked at the barrier with a crumpled expression as they endured the crippling sensation of worry that came from the connection with their master, for Aerendil, specifically, it feels like once again seeing his mother dying in front of his eyes, but Roselle the Fixer continuously "fixes" his thoughts, thus in the end, until the last second of the 5 minute mark given by Sophia.

Thus right now, the former smartest man on the planet is holding up the scepter of the undeads, it's orb is glowing with a hint of white and black while a magic circle with numbers instead of letters is imbedded on it, this is the magic circle equivalent of the equation that derived "frame per existence of time", in the tip of the staff is another magic circle, this is the reverse of the seal of Thanatos.

Aerendil and Roselle the fixer waited for the most grueling 5 minutes and finally, the time has come, there's even an unexpected help from Tina, not hesitating anymore, Roselle's eyes immediately shone white colored light as Aerendil plunched the tip of the scepter of the undead to the barrier, and the moment the magic circle touched the surface of the barrier, it latched into the sealing construct and then spread and in the magic circle's wake, the barrier disintegrated with the sound of shattering glass reverberating around the world.

Aerendil furrowed her brows and looked at the sky which started to dip with him as the center.

"10 Seconds."

Aerendil muttered whilst Roselle immediately shoot out in the middle of the Land of Thanatos to find the cracked core of the undead.

This happened whilst Aerendil heard a notification.

Aerendil was startled, it seems like the system is angered because the medium of its existence was deceived, with bright white light shining from his grey colored body, the former smartest man in the world flew, and at the same time, the dip in the sky was ripped apart, causing a dark, seemingly endless void to be exposed, and in that void billions... maybe even trillions sands of time came rushing in, they locked at Aerendil who remained calm despite this current ordeal.

He pointed the orb of the scepter of undead at the "eye" of the pouring sand of time and then muttered.

[Sophia's Equation]

An illusory gong, as if the herald of the judgement day was heard, and in that exact same moment, Sophia and even the dictator of time, Eris herself who got syphoned of her mana due to her needing to make the tesseract recover looked at the spell in shock.

Sophia is the one who made it a reality, but still, when she saw how the air, dust and even mana itself started to move as fast as the passage of time and shoot towards the pouring sands of time, she still can't help but feel, once again fulfilled.

She have never been fulfilled since when he created the equation that effectively let humans be able to use Planck energy when she was still Emilio.

Roselle the fixer have one ability for him to be called the fixer, to fix anything that's destroyed, whether corporeal or conceptual (though a higher price will be stripped by the latter), and he used just that.

First, he fixed his eyes to see the entirety of Thanatos, and soon, located the cracked parts of the undead core, it was split in 4 parts and he then fixed the air to latch into these 4 and make them traverse the distance between themselves.

This ability [Fix] has two prerequisite, for objects broken to touch each other, and for incorporeal or corporeal to be fully understood by the user before being fixed.

Roselle can't understand time, and this is the best he could do.

Soon, all the 4 parts is on top of the flying Roselle the Fixer, he then used the air as puppet strings and then slowly put his hands together in a praying position, and alongside this motion, the debris of the undead core also started to fuse, however, as if something is missing, even after 5 or 6 or 7 seconds passed, the core can't fully merge together, Roselle gritted his teeth as he saw that Aerendil is slowly being drowned by time and the artificial objects used to block the sands that represents its particles are losing out.

[Finally, I find all of my parts.]

Just as the 9th second ticked, a distant, yet world resonating voice echoed through together with a green-black light that briefly shone in the capital of Kamatayan that blinded every undead and caused Roselle and Aerendil to get disoriented and for the latter to be engulfed by time.

Despair and disappointment coursed through the two of the undeads as the thoughts of failing their master emerged in their confident minds.

But that only lasted for a moment for in the 11th second of the 10 seconds countdown, the 4 large chunks and the small shards of the undead core made a "click" sound and imbedded itself to the ground directly below the Fixer, crushing him.

However, only a smile can be seen in his rolling head as he saw a blinding green-black flash alongside a beam of the same color that eradicated the numerous sands of time that's pouring to the world raced towards the seemingly endless void in the sky.

The green beam didn't stop and shot out to the void that was used to pour the sands of time, banging with the time loop in a universe-shaking collision.
