Sky-cracking Rider -
Chapter 904 - 904: Section 897 - Expulsion
"Down with Paternalism!"
"Down with Monopoly!"
"Greedy bastards! Don't monopolize the Giant Turtle Star!"
"Only allow the Porridge Officer to light a lamp, not the common people to set a fire!"
"------"
Thousands of people gathered outside the isolation walls of the giant battleship, holding banners and vertical signs, waving nonsensical little flags, and even wearing specially made T-shirts, actually making it look quite the spectacle.
Despite the outraged crowd, no one dared to take a step closer.
After all, the battleship truly dares to fire. A shot with a caliber of 600, no one knows how many people it will affect. Anyhow, it's a map-wide cannon. If one goes, they all go, dying early meant being reborn early.
Persian Sovereignty, because their own investigation team ventured into the abnormal region without reporting it, ended up losing the initiative, and now can only watch helplessly as Chen Fei practically monopolizes the entire abnormal region within the giant battleship, unable to enter and having to watch from outside, without any chance at all.
One must admit, the S-Class Space Ability "Isolation" is indeed a brilliant move with foresight.
In contrast, the abnormal regions on Water God Star and Ordovician Star are not so well managed, with thousands of adventurers swarming in. The local sovereignty is completely overwhelmed and unable to prevent it, so the situation is entirely out of control.
Especially the latter, the Ordovician Star abnormal region, because it doesn't have the same personal capability or diving equipment requirements as the Water God Star, the entry threshold is much lower, directly turning it into a paradise for adventurers. Every inch of land is dug three feet deep, and the surrounding area is full of pits and hollows, almost comparable to fields tilled for hundreds of years.
The most valuable abnormal region remains the Giant Turtle Star, whose entire planetary body is basically a living creature, and what can be developed is only a small part of this enormous being, not the whole. The size of the "Giant Turtle" is unimaginably and ridiculously larger than the myths in the "Classic of Mountains and Seas."
Although indeed many good things were found in the Water God Star and Ordovician Star's abnormal regions, what fell into the sovereignty's hands was relatively little, not even as much as what was slowly extracted from the monopolized Giant Turtle Star's abnormal region, allocated orderly with sitting and fruit-sharing. Although they couldn't get a bite of the juicy parts, they did at least see some meat.
A considerable amount of specialty resources ended up in the pockets of individuals or dubious organizations, making huge profits. Whether anything extremely dangerous leaked out, perhaps only God knows.
"Hey! Getting unpopular, huh!"
Chen Fei looked at several optical screens, completely unconcerned.
Outside were a bunch of armchair warriors, not a single true warrior. If anyone dared to climb over the isolation wall, he might have looked at them differently, rewarding a Cloud Bomb right on the spot for encouragement.
The monk, with a face of complete resignation, sipping cold tea, said nonchalantly, "You've gone too far! Eating all the pie naturally breeds resentment."
The charcoal in the brazier wasn't lit at all, merely for show. Cold green tea replaced the originally hot steeped tea using tap water.
The monk, lying back, resigning, no longer even pretending to be at his former elegance.
Although the abnormal region of the Giant Turtle Star was sealed off by a fortress-style gate, the extraction of internal resources never stopped. Apart from Chen Fei keeping a large part for himself, the rest was divided between Louis Industries and the Blue Star Global United Defense Committee.
As for the Persian Sovereignty, after the fortress-style gate was sealed, they didn't get even a fart, relying on the Global United Defense Committee's good graces to get just a little.
With so many sovereignties joining forces to pressure, Persian Sovereignty never had a chance to turn against Chen Fei, who monopolized the resources of the Giant Turtle Star. The current monopolization is itself a product of multi-party balance and compromise. Switch to someone else, and some sovereignties would express dissatisfaction.
So Chen Xiao'er timed it very cleverly.
"Ha ha, monk, borrow your head for a moment!"
Chen Fei was not polite at all.
"Gah?"
The icy cold tea cup in the monk's hand dropped on the spot, his neck mechanically turning around.
"'Adam,' project Miyoshi's portrait outward, tell those guys outside to scram 100 miles away, intruders, kill!"
Like taking a heavy hit, Miyoshi Xuesen was further dumbfounded. His reading comprehension had made a mistake. Borrowing a head had this explanation too.
Overwhelmed with anger! Shaking with cold!
Killing people is nothing, but you're shoving someone's head straight into the dung pit!
The next second, holograms of a high monk fluttering in monk robes, with a pious and solemn appearance, were projected on both port and starboard sides of the giant battleship, none other than Miyoshi Xuesen himself. His solemn face spewed forth words, with a roar like spring thunder, deafening across all directions.
"Namo Amitabha, everyone retreat 100 miles. Those who do not, shall be killed!"
Again, another huge black cauldron was placed on the monk's back. The villain was still the Miyoshi Monk, while the real mastermind, Chen Xiao'er, never showed up once.
Avenge grievances, seek revenge, just find the monk.
Hehehe!
S-Class Space Ability User Heseman Brown had sweat hairs standing on end behind him, his eyes darting between Chen Fei and Miyoshi Xuesen.
Truly birds of a feather flock together. Taking three stealthy steps backward, compared to these two, he felt like an innocent naive one, having never seen the darkness of the human world.
Like fortress walls, the portholes on the side hull of the battleship opened one by one, pushing out massive railguns.
The rows of cannon muzzles remind people of the multilayer deck cannons from the era of sail battleships, exceeding the number of any sail battleship, and a single shell can instantly tear apart any ship from the sail era. If a broadside salvo is fired simultaneously, within a five-kilometer radius it will be as desolate as hell, with barely any living thing left behind.
This is just the number of railgun batteries, without counting the missile nests, laser cannon batteries, dense formations, and particle beam cannon batteries. Without such terrifying firepower output, how could Chen Fei have the confidence to engage directly with the extraterrestrial parasitic species' main space combat weapon, a biological space mothership roughly seven kilometers long (must count the Pure Light Sparrow flock and the S-Class spatial ability "Transfer," otherwise it would be a tragedy akin to a fishing boat against a giant cannon battleship, given the size disparity).
The noisy protests quickly turned to silence as the long electromagnetic acceleration rails made their appearance.
People in the crowd looked at each other, finally realizing this was a war machine armed to every inch of its armor.
Snap!~
"Open the door, release the dragon!"
Chen Fei snapped his fingers, and the belly cargo doors of the giant battleship spanning two ridges opened wide, releasing a fierce creature.
"┗|`O′|┛Roar~~"
A deafening dragon roar instantly spread in all directions.
"Dragon, dragon, dragon, giant dragon!"
"It's the Dragon of Slaughter!"
With scales raised high, the gigantic body rushed from between the hills into the sky. A crisp explosion sounded, and the cloud formed by sonic boom wrapped around the sharp scales from head to tail as it broke through the sound barrier.
"┗|`O′|┛Roar~~"
With another dragon roar, another fierce creature shimmering with cold light soared into the blue sky.
"Run!~"
Someone shouted loudly.
The brave heroes surrounding the giant battleship, the eighteen paths of "Pig Monkeys," now cursed their parents for not giving them an extra leg, abandoned their possessions, and scattered like wild animals, fleeing frantically.
The numerous batteries were less threatening than the two suddenly appearing "Metallic Dragons."
"Metallic Dragons? There are Metallic Dragons aboard the ship?"
The terrifying roar faintly reached the bridge, and S-Class space ability user Heseman Brown looked at Chen Fei in disbelief.
There's another trump card?
And there are two of them!
The Dragon of Slaughter certainly qualifies as a trump card existence, but they are equally unyielding, notoriously difficult to control.
Except for the Silan Royal Family of Cangqiong Star, almost no one can command them obediently. Even the Lord of the Sky cannot; when these evil dragons go wild, they dare to rebel against their own Dragon King and would defiantly challenge Nimade's Sky Dragon City!
All the efforts of the Dragon Clan's Law Enforcement Team are devoted to suppressing these fellows, highlighting their inherent danger.
If the Metallic Dragons could unite, their threat level might exceed that of the parasitic species. The "Halo" plan from the Lord of the Sky is admirably brilliant, achieving three goals: firstly, sealing the invasion route of extraterrestrial races "Sagali," secondly, confining all adult Metallic Dragons, and thirdly, establishing the largest communication channel between Cangqiong Star and Blue Star.
Chen Fei shook his head to correct: "It's a newly designed conceptual armament from Louis Industrial Company, the X-D-005 Giant Dragon-type Combat Mobility Armor, not a real Mechanical Dragon."
Currently, he possesses two mechanical dragons, and though they look intimidating, they pose zero threat to the parasitic species' biological space mothership and can only be used to intimidate and bully the weak.
If there were actual Metallic Dragons aboard, the Blue Star Global United Defense Committee would never entrust him with the ark plan; nearly three thousand human seeds could potentially perish in a day (think of a home-demolishing Husky; imagine replacing household items with human bodies).
"It's just, it's indistinguishable from the real thing!"
Heseman Brown stared at the flight behavior of the two mechanical dragons in the three-dimensional holographic projection, inhaling sharply repeatedly.
If he hadn't heard Chen Fei say it, he wouldn't dare to believe it was merely bionic combat mobility armor.
"Because enough data has been collected."
To gather the action model and build a motion database for the Metallic Dragons, it was incredibly easy for Chen Fei. Thus, the X-D-005 Giant Dragon-type Combat Mobility Armor mimics its posture perfectly, indistinguishable from the real thing.
Heseman Brown asked: "Is it the Cangqiong Star connection?"
He suspected it was through the Chen and Lin Families' channels that Chen Fei acquired data from the Silan Royal Family; this path was the most feasible and not very difficult.
"Close enough!"
Chen Fei replied noncommittally.
Few people knew the extent of his connection with the Metallic Dragons, as none dared to inquire among the Metallic Dragons.
After speaking, he pointed to the electronic map, issuing instructions to "Adam" for an area around the giant battleship.
"600mm caliber demolition bomb, fire one here!"
