After that day, I just ignored everything that anyone brought to me that wasn't related to the Kite Kingdom.

After all, I knew what kind of things they would be asking and I didn't want to get involved in any of that.

Instead, I wanted to use this time to spend some quality time with my family.

However, there was a problem…

It came when I was spending time with my children.

This definitely wasn't something that I had been expecting from them since they had never shown any signs of this, but it was hard to deny the cold hard facts that were in front of me.

My three daughters all seemed nervous when their mothers brought them to see me, just like the first time that we met.

I thought that they would remember me, but it seemed like children forgot about those that they didn't see for a while and it had been a while since I came back. My children weren't the exception to this even though they were smart.

They still forgot about me when they saw me again.

A bitter smile appeared on my face when I saw my daughters acting like this, but there really wasn't anything that I could say about this. The only thing that I could do was try to get close to my daughters again and slowly coerce them over.

It took a while, but I was able to convince them to approach me.

Though I had to admit that I had to rely on a bit of outside help.

When I had been traveling, I had also been thinking of my daughters. So during that time, I had bought a few souvenirs for them.

These souvenirs were currently being used as a bribe for them.

Even though they weren't even one year old yet, it seemed that they recognized these bribes and fell for them.

They came out from behind their mothers and came towards me.

Or it was better to say that they went towards the bribe that I brought them.

Even as kids, they knew what they liked and they didn't hesitate to go for them.

I was happy to see this since I wanted them to be like this.

The only thing that I was worried about was if they would accept me as well.

It didn't take long for them to pick out the items that they liked and they started playing with them. When they started playing with them, it was as if they completely forgot about me.

Seeing them like this put another bitter smile on my face, but I was happy to see my kids having fun.

In the end, it was Rose and the other mothers who helped me by asking the kids, "Shouldn't you thank your father for buying these gifts for you?"

They slowly turned to look at me when they heard what their mothers said, but it didn't seem like they were completely fine with me yet as they were still a bit worried.

I really was worried that this would create a friction between me and my children in the future, but that wasn't the case as their mothers pushed them forward.

The three of them lowered their heads like they were giving a small bow before saying, "Ababu."

They were still young, so it wasn't as if they could speak yet. But the fact that they could do all of this showed just how much their brains had developed. They were much smarter than kids their age who should still be in diapers and lying in cribs.

However, that wasn't what I paid attention to.

"My cute babies!" I couldn't help saying before moving forward with my hands outstretched.

My daughters were caught off guard by me, so they weren't able to move out of the way in time. By the time that they reacted, I had already wrapped my arms around all three of them and had picked them up.

Now that I was stronger than before, it wasn't hard for me to pick up my daughters.

But at the same time, it didn't seem like they were against this. All three of them seemed like they were looking forward to

I was about to happily smush my face against theirs, I couldn't help slightly knitting my brows.

When my daughters saw this, they couldn't help looking a bit worried.

At the same time, Rose stepped forward and asked, "What's wrong?"

I didn't answer her as I looked at my daughters, but my eyes were narrowed as if I was looking carefully at them.

So for them to suddenly gain divine energy like this…

It had to do with the fact that I had gained divine energy after meeting the God of Creation.

But for them to have divine energy like this, did that mean that they were now gods as well?

No, I wasn't a god either…

So it wasn't as if it meant that one was a god just because one possessed divine energy.

I really had no idea what it meant for one to be a god, but divine energy was certainly a power that should only belong to the gods.

I was worried about what this would mean for my daughters.
