As I approached the Relic of Destruction, I could feel the same sensation as before where it felt like I would be able to control the Relic of Destruction.

But at the same time, it really felt like there was something that was pulling that control away.

No, it wasn't that there was something that was stealing that control from me. It was that the Relic of Destruction itself was resisting the control that I exerted on it.

It was clear that it was resisting with all its might with the way the sensation that I felt from it.

But it wasn't as if I could just let it break free.

This thing was a Relic of Destruction and the controlling sensation that I had over it came from the seal that was on it. It was the Mark of God that gave me control over this seal, which gave me control over the Relic of Destruction.

If this controlling sensation disappeared, it would mean that the seal on this Relic of Destruction was broken.

So in a sense, it was a relief that there was still this sensation.

If it was gone, then it really would be bad.

The problem was that the resisting sensation coming from the Relic of Destruction was also getting stronger. It meant that the seal was slowly breaking down and it was only a matter of time before it disappeared.

Though I wasn't surprised by this since I already knew that this was the case from the way that the Apostle of Destruction pulled on the corruption energy of the Relic of Destruction.

As I was thinking about how I would seal this Relic of Destruction up again, I finally found a clue that seemed like it would work.

The Mark of God was reacting to the Relic of Destruction and gave me control of it.

Then that should mean that to a certain extent, the Mark of God should connect the gods to this Relic of Destruction.

While I didn't have the ability to seal this Relic of Destruction, that didn't mean that the gods didn't have the ability to do so. The gods were the ones that had sealed this Relic of Destruction in the first place.

So if I leave everything to the gods, this problem should take care of itself.

"I'll leave it to them." I said in a confident voice to myself before heading right towards the Relic of Destruction.

The sensation of it resisting became stronger the closer that I came to it, but I ignored that as I raised my hand towards it. As my hand came closer, I could see that the Mark of God was becoming brighter and brighter.

It was clear that the Relic of Destruction was eliciting a reaction from the Mark of God.

It was just that I couldn't help knitting my brows more and more when I saw this.

That was because the reaction that was coming from the Mark of God wasn't what I had expected it to be.

So I leaned in towards my hand and said, "What are you doing? I can't do anything against this, I need your help to seal this."

While I had no idea if there was actually anyone listening to what I said, I still had to say something. After all, this really was a dangerous situation and I needed to find some kind of solution.

If I had to put pressure on the gods, then I would do it.

But even then, it didn't seem like the gods were planning to do anything.

The stronger that the sensation from the Relic of Destruction became, the more that it felt like it was about to break free of the seal. At the same time, there were traces of corruption energy that were leaking out and pushing back the seal that I had put on it.

It seemed like the divine energy earth wasn't about to be able to hold back this Relic of Destruction for much longer.

I pulled back my hand and pulled out the Staff of Earth instead.
