The strange creatures didn't seem to care that the ice was spreading towards them.

It was as if they didn't see this ice as a threat at all.

To them, they saw it as nothing more than ice.

It was just too bad that this wasn't any further from the truth. It was too bad that the ice wasn't any normal ice.

The moment that the strange creatures made contact with the ice, they quickly understood the mistake that they had made. At the same time, they knew that they had to get as far away as possible from this ice.

It only took an instant for them to be completely encased in this ice, becoming unable to move a single inch.

Once these strange creatures made of corruption energy were encased in this ice, they screamed out in pain as they were being purified by the divine energy ice. In the end, they couldn't do a single thing as they disappeared without a trace.

With the wall creating a barrier that stopped them from charging in waves and the ice clearing them out, it didn't take long before a gap in the line of strange creatures was formed.

This was formed right in the direction that I wanted it to be formed.

It was the direction that the pulling sensation was coming from.

"Follow me." I said in a firm voice before charging forward.

The others seemed to hesitate a bit, but they still followed me in the end.

Since we were already close, it didn't take long to find the Relic of Destruction.

However, there was this strange thing that was standing over it.

It was a figure that was different from the rest of the strange creatures that were coming out of the corruption energy. In fact, with the way that this figure was standing among the corruption energy, it really seemed like it was coming from this figure.

At the same time, the thing that the strange figure was standing in front of was the pedestal that contained the Relic of Destruction.

Though looking closely, it seemed that this strange figure hadn't taken the Relic of Destruction as it was still there. At the same time, it seemed that there was a light that was coming from the Relic of Destruction that was resisting the strange figure.

However, it also seemed that the light from the Relic of Destruction was getting weaker.

It was as I had suspected, they had already found the way to the Relic of Destruction and they were already trying to take it away. The thing was that the Relic of Destruction had a seal on it that prevented this from happening, so what they had to do was break the seal first.

"There's no time to waste! Charge and stop him!"

The others also recognized what was happening and they understood what would happen if we delayed. As such, they all started charging at the strange figure that was standing there in front of the Relic of Destruction.

So they started swarming us once more as they tried to stop us from approaching.

At the same time, the strange figure turned around to look at us.

When it did, I could see something familiar with this strange figure.

It was just like the Apostle of Destruction that I had met before.

"So it's you. The prophesied hero and his lackeys. It seems that I'll have to put in a bit more effort today."

Once this Apostle of Destruction said this, it pulled out a sword that was just like the sword that the other Apostle of Destruction wielded.

When this sword came out, it was as if the corruption energy around this Apostle of Destruction seemed to react to it. The moment that this sword came out, the corruption energy that was all around the Apostle of Destruction started to surge forward.

It was as if it was being sent out in a wave by that sword with how it moved.

I knitted my brow seeing this, but I didn't hesitate as I raised the Staff of Earth in my hand to gather the earth spikes. At the same time, I squeezed the button in my other hand to create the layer of ice around these earth spikes.

When it seemed like the wave of corruption energy was about to hit us, that was when I released the earth spikes.

But before I released the earth spikes, there was this strange feeling that came from inside of me. This was a feeling that I had never felt before, so I had no idea why there was this feeling now.

However, it felt like the divine energy that was inside of me was being pulled by something.

It was different from before where it was leading me somewhere. This time, it felt like it was being pulled out by something.

It didn't take long to realize what it was.

It was the earth spikes that were causing this reaction from the divine energy inside of me.

After it was pulled out, it seemed to fill the earth spikes as if it was empowering it.

When the earth spikes were shot out, it felt like there was something that was pulled out of me at the same time.

Then the moment that the earth spikes made contact with the corruption energy…

"Pop!"

It was like a balloon popping as it suddenly burst apart.

"What did you do?" The Apostle of Destruction asked in a strange voice.

It was just how was I supposed to answer?
