Bink laughed out loud.

Might reminded Bink.

Elsewhere, Red Teeth arrived at the outskirts of the Gotosk Rift Valley.

One by one, the exit hatches opened, and a stream of mechas flew out at high speed.

The crowd responded in unison.

"All teachers, keep an eye on your students to prevent any accidents."

Gene then instructed the teachers.

Tang Xuan and the others replied steadily.

"Let’s move out!"

Major Gene led the group towards the valley.

Su Ming, piloting the Gun Knight and following the main force, had lost his main weapon, so he was temporarily equipped with a Blast Gun.

Although not very effective, it would suffice for the time being.

Soon, under Major Gene’s lead, the group arrived at the rebel defenses in the canyon.

They were met by twenty towering seven-meter-tall mechas with black paint jobs, each brandishing a rectangular Metal Shield in the left hand and a Metal Hammer in the right, imposing in stature.

These were the Black Flame Star-produced classic model Barbarian Mechas, all marked with the rebel insignia.

The rebels operating the Barbarian Mechas, seeing so many mechas approaching, prepared for combat and raised their Metal Hammers, calling out:

"Who are you?"

Major Gene stepped forward alone to speak.

"We’re from Imperial Court Academy. Is Lord Mafa here?"

The rebels in charge of the guard glanced at each other but did not make a sound.

It was then that a dull noise approached.

The Barbarian Mechas guarding the area stepped aside.

Su Ming and the others saw a group of mechas approaching, led by a Third Generation Mecha·Gun Knight, followed by a Third Generation Mecha·Hercules, and a Third Generation Mecha·Fire Slaughter twenty meters tall, carrying SCX missile cluster launchers in both hands, equipped with two large-caliber Beam Cannons on the shoulders, and with Jet Wings embedded in the back.

Behind them followed a mixed assortment of Second Generation Mechas, including Iron Guard, Giant Force, and Flame Knight.

"Lord Mafa is in the Red Valley Mineral Base, he sent me to welcome you all."

Conner, piloting the Gun Knight, said.

"Who are you?"

Major Gene asked with a slight frown.

"Let me introduce myself. My name is Conner, second in command of the rebel forces."

Conner told Major Gene.

"Please have Lord Mafa come out for a moment."

Major Gene said with great vigilance, Vice Principal Fleck had made it very clear that Mafa was the contact.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Lord Mafa has already struck a deal with us, we can give you the supplies and personnel. What else do you have to worry about? Come with me, quickly."

Conner finished speaking, waved his hand, and turned to walk back.

Witnessing this, Major Gene’s expression went through a rapid change and he promptly led his people to follow.

Once they entered the area set up by the rebels, Su Ming’s scanning device lit up with a multitude of red dots, spread across both sides of the canyon.

Su Ming, operating the Gun Knight, followed the troops while keeping a watchful eye on his surroundings.

At this point, he spotted some mecha figures on the distant cliff tops of the canyon and adjusted the optical device to zoom in and capture the images.

He saw mechas, twelve meters tall, each holding a grid-patterned rocket launcher, embedded with two huge beam cannon mouths on their shoulders.

Clearly, these mechas boasted formidable long-range firepower, though their close combat capabilities seemed lacking.

At that moment, a prompt popped up on the scanning screen.

"Second Generation Mecha·Fire Guard detected."

Su Ming looked at the Second Generation Mecha·Fire Guards but said nothing.

However, as Su Ming and his group moved forward, he keenly noticed that these Fire Guard mechas were adjusting the aim of their rocket projectiles as well.

As time passed, however, Su Ming saw that Conner was leading them deeper into enemy territory. The scanning device showed many red dots adjusting their positions, forming what resembled an enveloping net.

Moreover, Su Ming noticed some close-defense cannons placed on the rock wall of the fissure to their right—these, too, were moving their barrels in sync with his movement.

All these signs increasingly gave him a bad feeling. Normally, after making contact, this shouldn’t be happening.
