Chapter 129: Still Have Feelings for You [Christian POV]
While I looked around the room, imagining all the places we could have had sex...
Leslie suddenly stood up from her seat and looked at me with a flushed face.
"Um, may I go use the bathroom?" she asked.
"Yes, of course, go ahead," I replied, finally snapping out of my thoughts.
Instead of going out into the hallway bathroom, like I had expected, she walked over to the hidden bedroom door and walked inside.
Oh, she even knows about that room...
Then I shook my head.
Of course, she knows that room. If we had any intimate relationship in the office, I would have brought her in there.
The thoughts that I just managed to suppress came back full force, flooding my mind with inappropriate ideas. By the time Leslie returned, I already had a full-on erection in my pants.
Leslie walked out with a refreshed look and a few droplets of water on the side of her face.
Looks like she had to cool off, too.
She took a seat across from me and waited for my next question. Her doe-like eyes looked at me with a mixture of emotions.
"Ahem," I cleared my throat. "So after we...after we had our moment of passion, what happened after?"
Her cheeks blushed slightly. "We were interrupted."
"Interrupted?" I asked.
She nodded, "In the heat of the moment, there was a knock on the door. It was a man that we didn’t recognize, at least it didn’t seem like you recognized him."
"Could you describe him to me?" I asked.
She thought for a moment, trying to figure out. "I don’t remember exactly because he only stayed for a short moment, but he was on the thinner side. He had a slight hunchback and dark brown hair. The most striking feature was his sunken eyes."
Her finger touched her bottom lip as she tried to remember more about him. I also racked my brain to try and figure out if I knew anyone by that description.
"Hmm, no. I can’t seem to picture anyone by that description," I replied.
Leslie nodded, "Yes, it didn’t seem like you recognized him. He was looking for Karl. It sounded like there was a small emergency."
"Oh, so what happened? Wasn’t Karl passed out drunk at this point?"
"Yes," she said. "He entered the room and walked over to shake Karl awake. He was fully focused on Karl and didn’t even bother to look at us. I was still sitting on the couch directly behind Karl, so I overheard a little of what they were saying."
I looked at her, waiting for her to continue.
"When Karl finally woke up, the man was telling him that something was wrong. The only thing that I picked up on was that he said something about sedatives. I believe he said the sedatives were wearing off."
My eyes widened. Although I didn’t have memories of the conflict, the mention of sedatives immediately painted the picture.
Sedatives? That almost confirms my suspicions. There really is human trafficking happening right under our noses.
My expression turned serious. Before Leslie could continue, I finished the thought for her.
"I followed them out, right?"
She looked at me, slightly surprised, "Yes. You followed them out after telling me to wait in the booth for you."
Her eyes began to water slightly. "But you never came back."
I didn’t expect her to get so emotional.
Did she care for me so much that she’s in tears?
"Leslie," I said softly. I wanted to walk over and comfort her, but I wasn’t sure how to.
She burst into tears, "Christian. I was so worried. My stomach didn’t stop turning all night. I knew something was wrong, but I couldn’t do anything!"
Tears continued to flow down her face, "No! I could have done something! I could have followed you like I had wanted to..."
"No! Leslie, this doesn’t have anything to do with you." At this point, I was almost certain of that. Her explanation matched Zach’s report, and she handed out important information about what happened behind closed doors.
She cried so hard that she had to cover her eyes. I felt my chest tighten as I watched her.
"No, I should have followed you. If I had... you would still have your memories." She looked at me with red eyes. Her eyes carried the sorrow, pain, guilt, and desperation she was feeling at that moment. I couldn’t hold myself back and stood up to sit beside her.
The moment I placed my arm around her she buried her head in my chest. A new flood of tears was unleashed as I tightened my embrace around her.
"It’s okay. I’ll get my memories back," I said in a hushed tone, squeezing her. "I’m sorry I hurt you."
For the first time, I felt a clawing in my heart. My desire to regain my memories was stronger than ever before.
Her pitiful cries triggered a sense of crisis inside of me. I lifted my hand and brushed her hair out of her face while rocking her.
She trembled in my arms before looking up at me.
"It’s not your fault," she said quietly, in between sobs. "I just....I just miss you so much..."
My chest tightened. My heart felt like it was being squeezed and pulled apart in all directions.
The next moment, I pulled her up into my lap, placing a kiss on her forehead. "I’m right here, Leslie. Although I can’t remember the times we’ve spent together, it’s undeniable that I still have feelings for you."
"You do?" she asked, looking at me with wide eyes. She was very clearly surprised.
"I do," I said softly.
Her small frame fit perfectly in my lap. A warmth spread through me as I held her against my chest.
I looked at her closely, noticing the slight tremble in her lips. They were so red and soft-looking...
The next moment, I leaned over and kissed her on the lips, confirming their softness. The feeling was so addictive that I couldn’t pull back.
As soon as our lips met, Leslie froze slightly before she parted her mouth and began to kiss me back. It was better than I could have ever imagined. The softness and warmth of her mouth sent tingling throughout my body.
It only took a moment for me to want more. She shifted slightly on my lap, making me more aware of how close she really was.
My heart was beating wildly in my chest, and when we finally pulled away from the kiss, we both looked at each other, trying to gauge what would happen next.
"Leslie, can you tell me about how we met?" I asked. I was looking for anything that could keep me from taking her right now. All of the blood in my body was already localized to the hard erection, which I was certain she was aware of.
Leslie looked at me, her eyes glazed over and her lips slightly ajar.
She suddenly stood up, causing a small sense of crisis inside of me.
"How about I show you instead?"
The next moment, she straddled me, placing her finger to my lips.
What is she doing?
She leaned over to my ear. "Christian. Do you want me?" she asked with a whisper. Her breath tickling my ear.
My entire body froze.
Was this really how we met?
She began to move her hips around in a circle, grinding up against my stiff erection. Suddenly, a faint flash of a memory overlapped with her. Behind her, I saw a wall of roses.
The Leslie in the fleeting memory was dressed up in a gorgeous dress. Loose pieces of her hair cascaded down her face.
Her movements felt so good that I felt like I could cum just from them.
My breathing became increasingly labored, but my eyes never left her.
"I’ll ask once more. Christian, do you want me?"
This time, another, stronger memory surfaced. I could hear her saying the same words to me. In her memory, she was biting her bottom lip, waiting for my answer with a mix of lust and excitement.
Just like in my memory, I looked at her before breathing out my answer.
"Yes."
She placed her arms around me, while I placed mine over her hips. Bending over, she placed her lips on mine and kissed me. It was deep and full of longing.
Her nails dug into my shoulders while she lifted her body up and down, grinding against my erection with increased desire. A few moments later, her tongue entered my mouth, gliding along my bottom lip.
I responded immediately, chasing her tongue with mine. I was so invested in the movements that it startled me when she suddenly pulled away.
She didn’t just pull away from my mouth; she even stood up.
Whoa, so this was how we first became involved with each other?
My mind whirled, replaying my newly acquired memories over and over again. However, unlike what I expected, she got down on her knees in front of me and looked straight into my eyes.
Holy fuck. That was only the beginning, wasn’t it?
