Leaving the Sheng Family’s home, Shen Weiyi couldn’t help but ask Sheng Ting, "Do you think Aunt Jing might have noticed something?"

Sheng Ting stopped in his tracks and looked at her, "You don’t want others to know about our relationship?"

Shen Weiyi looked up at him, "There’s no need to hide it deliberately, you can tell Aunt Jing." Since they had decided to be together, there was nothing to hide.

"Okay!" Sheng Ting nodded his head.

After sending Shen Weiyi home, Sheng Ting entered his house to find Situ Jing sitting on the sofa.

Seeing her posture, it was clear she had something to ask. After changing his shoes, he walked over to her.

"You little rascal, have you taken a liking to Yiyi?" Situ Jing went straight to the point as soon as she opened her mouth.

"Yeah." Sheng Ting had no intention of hiding it, especially since Shen Weiyi didn’t oppose it.

Having got the answer she wanted, Situ Jing’s expression visibly relaxed, earlier worried she might have guessed wrong.

"You’ve got good taste, I like that girl too. Work hard to win her over sooner. But with the way you are, if you don’t change, I’m afraid not many girls will put up with you."

Sheng Ting initially wanted to say that they were already together, but hearing Situ Jing’s words, he decided to say, "Alright, I got it."

"Fine, I’m going to bed!" Knowing what she wanted to know, Situ Jing didn’t bother with him anymore and contentedly went back to her room.

Sheng Ting couldn’t help but smile, calling Shen Weiyi as he headed to his room.

"Have you reached home?" The phone was answered after just two rings.

"Yeah!" Hearing her voice, the corners of Sheng Ting’s mouth lifted unconsciously as he replied and pushed open his room’s door, switching on the light by the door.

The warm yellow light chased the darkness away from the room.

Sheng Ting closed the door behind him and walked inside, saying, "My mom just asked about us."

"Did you tell her?" There was a noticeable tension in Shen Weiyi’s voice from the other end of the phone.

Sheng Ting chuckled softly, "Yeah."

"What did Aunt Jing say?" Shen Weiyi quickly inquired.

Sheng Ting: "My mom said I have good taste and that I should perform well."

"Perform well?" Shen Weiyi was puzzled.

Sheng Ting explained with a laugh, "My mom asked if I had taken a liking to you and told me to do my best to win you over soon."

Shen Weiyi: "Why didn’t you just tell her that we’re already together?"

Sheng Ting laughed, "No reason, just thought about giving them time to accept it." Mainly, he was concerned she might feel uncomfortable.

Shen Weiyi quickly understood, "Thank you, Sheng Ting," she said.

Sheng Ting went to the window and gazed out into the night, his voice smooth, "Get some rest, I’ll pick you up tomorrow!"

"Okay!"

After hanging up, Shen Weiyi lay on her bed, her lips curving into a slow smile as she thought of all the moments they had shared since meeting. Then, struck by a notion, she couldn’t help but unlock her phone and look through the photos she had taken that day. There were solo shots of Sheng Ting, as well as pictures with Little Douding. Shen Weiyi picked out the one she felt was best captured, no editing needed, and set it as her wallpaper directly.
