For her son’s sake, she had to protect herself.

"Go play!" She waved at him, then settled into the back seat of the car, leaning her back lightly against the seat. "Let’s go!"

The black stretch Lincoln started and slowly drove out of the estate’s gates under the escort of two guard vehicles.

Gan Yuan turned her head slightly, glancing through the gaps between the trees at Moses’s car outside the forest.
