Rise of the Harem King
Chapter 94: Prisoners

Chapter 94: Prisoners

Sophia leaned forward, her full, heavy breasts pressing against the edge of the table, the soft curves threatening to spill over the neckline of her snug top. Her lips curled into a teasing smirk, but her eyes burned with genuine curiosity,

"Actually," she purred, her voice dripping with faux innocence, as she prepared her trap. "There’s something that’s been dying to ask you."

She held Davi’s gaze, refusing to let him look away, her fingers tracing idle circles on the tabletop. And after a brief second of silence, she starts talking again, with a playful smirk dancing on her lips.

"I know that Ember and Alexia are part of the harem. And you snatched up Sylvia as soon as you had the chance.. So tell me, darling," she leaned in a touch, her voice dropping to a sultry whisper, "do you have a thing for small breasts?"

He parted his lips to answer, then thought better of it, closing them again. The unexpected question had thrown him for a loop, rendering him momentarily mute. Observing his reaction, Sophia’s smile deepened, a playful air about her as as she loved provoking the man beside her.

Naturally, she gave him no time to think. Leaning in closer, close enough for him to catch the subtle scent of her perfume, she repeated her question:

"Do you prefer them small, or..." Her gaze flicked to Alexia, lingering just long enough to taunt before returning to him. Then, with a slow, deliberate smirk, she cupped her own breasts, pressing them together slightly as she purred, "huge?"

The other two girls immediately stared at Davi, waiting for his answer. In particular, Alexia was a little irritated by the provocation, and she wanted to shout, making it clear that she was not small.

Of course, compared to Sophia, she was much smaller, but her medium breasts were the perfect size and could fill the palm of his hand. Morrigan, on the other hand, was just curious, after all, she had large breasts, although not as large as Sophia’s.

After a few seconds of reflection, Davi sighed deeply.

"You completely forgot to include Luna and Lara in your equation," he quickly pointed out the blonde’s mistake.

Sophia, in response, smiled confidently, then puffed out her large chest with pride and smiled playfully, as if she were trying to corner the boy once again.

"I see, so you like them really big!" She smiled as if she were a great victor.

She didn’t remember Luna’s appearance, because the woman ended up being overshadowed amidst so many more striking girls, by her rank and family. That said, she knew she was smaller than Lara in terms of curves... and height, of course.

But that didn’t bother her at all, and in the end, she just wanted to provoke the two girls who were at the meeting, particularly Alexia.

"You know that’s not what I said," tired of that joke, Davi finally replied in a firmer tone. "I love all my girls," he replied, forcing that discussion to come to an end.

Then, he took the lead in the conversation, saying that they needed to talk about more serious matters. In particular, there was something that was the main reason for them having gathered there: what to do with the prisoners.

Most of the people who had attacked them had already been killed, and they had no idea where Caine was. That said, Sherazade, Wein, and two other warriors had been captured, and there was always the risk of them trying to do something stupid.

Carlos had implanted the same bomb insect in their necks, just as Sophia had ordered him to do with Toki. However, there was no way to be sure that this would be enough, especially when it came to Sherazade.

On the other hand, the last time Davi tried to kill her, she ended up coming back. And, as long as they didn’t find out how she did that, executing her seemed like an even more dangerous solution than simply learning.

"Besides, we can’t forget that we can get information from them," Sophia pointed out. "They will serve as important evidence to reveal my aunt’s schemes."

"Yes, but I don’t like the idea of crossing the dangers that the rift provides, while we have to fear whether or not we will be stabbed in the back," Morrigan countered.

Among everyone there, she was the one who most strongly defended the execution of the prisoners. In particular, because she felt a deep disgust and contempt, especially for professors and academy members who turned their weapons against the students.

That was an absolutely unforgivable crime. It would be like a firefighter setting fires or a police officer committing theft.

No, to her, this was even worse.

Those men had the duty to protect the students, to guide them. The noblest duty of all is to shape and lead the people who will become the future of the world. And yet, those despicable men had forsaken such a noble responsibility.

Davi was surprised to see how emotional the redhead was being. She usually seemed like an extremely rational and calm person, but for the first time, he was seeing a different side of her.

In a way, he was getting to know her better. But this was not the time to dwell on that—it was time to make a decision.

"At the very least, I don’t think it makes sense to kill Sherazade. I doubt she’s loyal to Amanda, so I think we can negotiate with her," Alexia pointed out.

It was somewhat surprising that she didn’t hold a deep grudge against that woman. Even though Sherazade had literally killed her, Alexia was analyzing the situation from a purely practical standpoint.

Davi, on the other hand, felt his chest swell with rage just at the thought of that name. But he wasn’t the type to let his emotions cloud his judgment.

So, the boy remained silent as he listened to the three women in front of him debate. But at some point, they reached a deadlock.

Then, almost unconsciously, their eyes turned to the man who had remained quiet until then.

"What do you think?" Alexia finally asked.

"Will they betray us or not? I trust your judgment," Morrigan added.

Sophia didn’t say anything, agreeing with the other two in silence. Thus, the weight of the final decision naturally fell on the boy’s shoulders.

But he wasn’t going to complain about it; in fact, he liked to take on that kind of responsibility.

So he looked at the ceiling and thought about the matter quickly. On the way back, they would be without Sylvia, which put them in a somewhat vulnerable position, yet...

Probably among the warriors, the most loyal to Amanda was the Belfort family member who committed suicide. Therefore, the others...

"We’re not going to kill Wein," Davi declared his decision firmly, giving no room for discussion. "And I’m going to talk to the others. It’s hard to know how they’ll act without knowing them."

The boy decided that if he felt any of the prisoners were a real risk, he would execute them on the spot. But if possible, he preferred to take them all alive so that they could be properly imprisoned in Enki.

After all, doing so meant that they would be interrogated by someone with an appropriate class, and with that, they could extract much more information than they could at that camp.

"But why do you want to keep Wein alive?" Alexia asked, surprised.

"His research might be useful, but it was probably a stroke of luck," Morrigan added. Her tone made it clear that she had no esteem for the man. "Besides, he was the one who interfered with your test."

Neither the redhead nor Alexia could understand exactly how Davi could be so calm about leaving Wein alive. They expected he would want revenge.

Moreover, among all the prisoners, he was the one who would have the easiest time escaping. At the moment, his mana was being restricted, but he had the power of teleportation, and it would only take a small chance for him to slip through their fingers.

"Well, death is a very light punishment, I suppose?" Sophia said, trying to guess what was going through the boy’s mind.

And, yes, in part, one of the reasons was because Davi preferred to have revenge with the man still alive. Just killing him seemed too little.

But, beyond that, there was a bigger reason; that man had indeed proven to have a unique talent. And it would be a great waste to squander his talent in that way.

After all, even that mysterious being, who seemed infinitely powerful, was interested in Wein’s creation.

"Morrigan, I understand that you don’t have good memories of him, but I don’t think you should underestimate him," Davi explained. "We just need to find a way to force him to use his talent for the good of humanity."

And with that, the main topic of the meeting was closed.

They still briefly discussed other matters, for example, logistical issues about how to get supplies for everyone.

In addition, the four briefly talked about the existence of the temple, but decided to think more about the matter when they had more information.
