After their rigorous path, they finally arrived at the outpost, though they were expecting a few players, what came their way we’re more than they could handle. Their players stretched out from a variety of classes and their numbers exceeded hundreds. Just when they were about to call for the aid of their vice leader, one of them was disappointed

"Awww, there’s only so little of their numbers!! It can’t even compare to when the three of us raided the Raging hyenas,"

"You can’t be a picky killer, Lillith these guys are just the numbers of their weakest link that they sent to the outpost. Hmm... What’s wrong...? You guys looked a little bit confused with what we’re saying," Though the rumors they spread told a tale about the mercenary queen’s victory

It wasn’t a complete lie, but they didn’t want their names to be added to the spotlight so earlier in the trials. Strong they may be but in terms of influence and personal power their group was lacking. Hence they gave all the glory to the mercenary queen and her group that followed her every word. This news was already known by Persevis, but seeing the looks on Hyunsu’s team means they weren’t informed of the matter

’Hold on three...? Isn’t that a little small compared to the Velvet queen and her army that attacked their base? If I’m correct in my guess, the roster will either be the Velvet queen herself. After learning the truth about that whole fiasco that’s related to the main character, Hyunsu was amazed. Though it may sound like a story narrated by a drunkard inside a tavern, it wasn’t impossible for the person he admired. Someone crafty, unfair, and known for his wits the only transmigrater he found to be a mystery. A person who even has the same name as the side character and a person who looks younger. But wise at the same time, a person known as Christoper Morris

"What are you guys doing!!? Naturally, it’s possible if you place Morris nim in that position. Don’t tell me you forgot that he is like a veteran in this world even if all of us are combined. Don’t be disheartened, it just only solidifies the fact that even if we aren’t characters we can still grow," With Hyunsu’s words he loosens the pressure that wells up in his allies. After they calmed down, Zeke’s team prepared every item they need before they gave the signal

The player has amplified the skill by injecting a ton of mana resulting in the skill range increasing from 10 - 20 meters]

Without a single warning, the players stationed in the outpost received a present originating from Zeke. Its increased range blinded a few players enough for them to mobilize all of their forces whilst he kills a few before they regained their sight. The players that saw the light from afar quickly arrived at their location

"I the magnificent mage of pure darkness and glory beyond anyone’s reach. I call for power that enhances my own and that of my brethren’s skill. I cast the skill exclusively for a utility mage, I grant my ally, Grey Williams the power of skill enhancement!!!" As stupid as it may sound, Quinton was by far the greatest example of a mage who chants. Whilst Yuuko relies more on a circle casting or what they called rune mage and Quon was a chantless like her master

The chanting mages weren’t inferior in terms of speed, the only problem was that their skills are predictable. But it didnt matter for he was being guarded by his most trusted companion who was their team’s tank. After he buffs Grey’s next skill he took a step back and joined the others, to watch a clean and wide crowd control that he was about to display

Soon after he howled, a dozen players have been affected by his voice and their focus was interrupted. The players that aimed for Zeke and their mages rushed toward his location, and after that, he prepared a stance in the nick of time. Raising his shield as he parries every attack that came in his way and soon after he releases his stance

"Shield arts, Counter!!!" Every hit he took and every attack that was blocked by his shield created a surge of force that wells up in his body. As soon as he builds a sufficient amount of force he releases it to his enemies, causing everything in his range to be pummeled. The force he mustered was strong enough to affect his surroundings that even cause a quake to form with his attack

"That’s the signal!!! Everyone attack!!!" When the players were knocked off into the air, it gave Zeke a brief moment to sure a few rounds colliding with their skulls. Sei Yeong quickly treated the injuries that Grey was unable to endure and the two mages began their attack

[System: The player Yuuko Nakajima has activated the skill called [Void arts] a skill that evolve from its subsidiary skill called [Void walk]. This skill allows her to manipulate space as she pleases. Though using it for too long will start to drain both stamina and mana as well as the player’s hp]

Yuko quickly wrote a circle spell that opens a space from a place far beyond their reach, where Quon’s chantless spell casting took its turn. She created a huge gust of air that’s continuously whirling near the edge of the cracked space that Yuuko has created. With these spells combined, they were able to create a spell that sucks the other players that remained to lurk. As soon as they deemed the number to be enough, Yuuko closes the portal she created, and Quon injected a chunk of mana into her hand

"1st tier magic combination, Triple casting, Tempest sphere + Augmented Ignite + Frostbite. Two elements that opposed one another and an element that goes well with each other. Though your power conflicts with each other, the element of air will separate you and make the two of you become one!!!" Fire and Ice weren’t something that was ever said to have any kind of synergy between each other

But the appearance of air that separates their flow made it so these two that oppose each other would connect. The air created a space that shielded these elements whilst it absorbs and guides them to her opponents. Inside that sphere, their enemies have crude after they suffered from an inescapable torture of their lives. As soon as their bodies would’ve burnt and became ashes, it then changes to a freezing blizzard that freezes their limbs

The thing that was their most concern was the fact that the air was being amplified by the rise and decrease of its temperature. Its power then soon grows and makes it harder for anyone to escape this torture Quon and Yuuko have devised. They haven’t even called out their trunk card and yet these players were immediately placed on the edge of their war

"Arrrgh!!!?? My arm!!!" Those who plotted against their mages were struck without a single warning. Hyunsu’s eyes and Zeke’s incredible senses became something to be feared. As the two would kill anyone that dared to target their mages

"Doesn’t our weapon reflects ourselves ey old timer?" Zeke reloaded his sniper rifle after he kills off the enemy ranger in his sight, whilst he teases his teacher

"Don’t call me old!!! Though I might be 25 years of age, im 8 years ahead of you when it comes to your leadership skills. Well, you’re still a child, how about you leave your flank to your oppa~" His word was quickly stopped as soon as his face was showered by the blood of a player that was able to reach their location

Zeke blew the player’s head into pieces after he shoots out a spread shot ammunition that acted like a shotgun

"Oppa my ass, watch your surroundings old timer!!! But that guy doesn’t count, it seems that he was equipped with an item that has stealth affixes... Make sure you survive, I don’t have anyone apart from you who’s good at recommending a book," Bow and the modern weapon for a ranged weapon was covering each other’s side. Even though it was just the very beginning of their mission. They found themselves to be outnumbered by their enemies

"Should we help them??" Gaust asked the two of them who remained hiding behind the tower below Zeke and Hyunsu’s position. These players were deemed to be their hidden aces that’ll turn the losing match back to its former state

"No, we shouldn’t rush," Lillith replied to his question

"Fine, I’ll go with or without you ~" Gaust was stopped after Kyo had intervened in his goal to attack. He grips Gaust’s augmented hands without the need for his awakened form. With just a simple glare at his eyes, he was stopped

"Have some trust in our allies, if they say they can handle it, then we must watch!! You can’t do as you please in this fight, lives are at stake, and as much as im carefree I know the cause of this mission. This will dictate if Boss would safely arrive after he wins his match, so don’t even think of doing anything stupid!!" After that, the three of them waited for their time to appear. No matter how many times they hear the voice of their allies. They must hold their strength before their time has finally arrived
