Chapter 132: Second trials story quest
Chapter 132: Second trials story quest
Within the first story quest for the 2nd trial within the deepest part of the map a person bearing an animal mask. Walk towards a certain commotion filled with screams that originated from a player, however, instead of a monster that’s brutally murdering its prey. It was just a single player covered in blood alongside a helmet that hides its identity
"Who’s there? Show yourself before I start tearing you to pieces!!?" It notices the player’s presence, ready for an ambush at any given moment
"It’s just you... What the fuck do you want?" The killer shrouded its surroundings with a terrifying aura, but as soon as the masked player revealed himself. It retrieves the blade that was used to finish off its victims
"Bounty Hunter isn’t about time that you comply with the request of my master... Why is it that my men haven’t heard anything about the death Spell thief? Don’t tell me you haven’t even started with your investigation!?" He slowly aimed his weapon in the direction of the bounty hunter, after he made an accurate assumption of their current situation
"Oh that I haven’t started yet," Yet his killer even nodded to his answer about his recent activities that didn’t concern their target. Engraved to the point that he was about to swing his weapon at the killer he was stopped
"If you don’t disengage at this very moment. I’ll take it as insubordination to our leaders, making it a good enough reason to end your life. I apologize for that rude display that my assigned teammate has made within your presence. But may I know the reason why you haven’t initiated your plans on hunting our enemies?" His assigned partner blocked his path by placing her blade within his neck, glaring at his eyes with an eye that shows her intention to kill. Making him stop before he could have met his end earlier than he could anticipate
"Hahahaha, this is such a humorous event am I right? I’m standing with an idiot that was about to die if he provoked me. Alongside a lesser idiot that doesn’t even know how great the cause of this hunt of mine is no?" The killer declared how utterly foolish the masked players were within its view, making them curious about their killer’s words
"Would you care to explain why you are amused by our threatening visit as a means of entertainment to you?" She asked him before she could notice that all of the players that hides within their location had died without any sound or struggle to be heard
"What the... This is your doing, isn’t it?" He tried to keep his composure after he was warned and yet most of their allies were killed without a sound. Making him believe how much of a threat this killer was within the world of trials
"Why is it that even your superiors know that I don’t like a ton of people? Whilst sending out a whole team just to learn of my progress, I truly believe that I haven’t done anything wrong in the slightest bit," The corpses of the killer’s victims were slowly burned after their untimely death
"State your reasons for thinking that you haven’t done anything wrong. I can see at this very moment that youre, not the type of person that always does their part of the job," She takes a deep breath after she was overwhelmed by the loss of her allies
"Someone as deadly as me to be given such an important task and you want me to take it lightly? Spell thief isn’t as simple as you think, he already predicted something like this to come into his life. To the point where he spreads his name to make the people want to imitate him, as far as I know, there isn’t a punishment to kill. But there are a lot of casualties in doing so what if the person I killed comes from a big guild? Wouldn’t that be a problem well this conversation isn’t as entertaining as I thought,"
They weren’t able to detect their killer after they were given a few words of advice. Along with their only way of chasing after their client would have no idea where their target disappeared. A player that was known for its feat of killing countless players that would’ve later become an untouchable giant. We’re mercilessly killed when they were still in their growing phase, by a killer known as the bounty hunter
Whilst this was happening within a certain area at the entrance of the second trial, a group of players was waiting for their last teammate to arrive. Apart from the ones that we’re asking for death, these players were able to survive by minimizing their numbers. Accompanied by their wits they appointed a person within a job best suited for their area. They were seen as an expert in surviving the trials even without any kind of talents
[System: Your immediate request for a trustworthy player has been completed. The player is now leaving the guild hall to meet his new comrades]
"Hey when is the recruit coming to our location? I’ve been standing here for a minute or two," An irritated voice that came from a guy dressed within a black robe voices his complaints within his group
"Tardiness is already crossing our rules, the fact that this guy is a knight means he’s gonna be another blockhead that always talks about chivalry. Righteousness, and bullshitery if he ever spouts a single annoying sentence, then im gonna vote for him to leave our team once we accomplish today’s hunt," A strict yet caring girl was annoyed by waiting within the cold and freezing temperature made by the entrance of the ice kingdom
"You guys talk so high and mighty like you didn’t even get lost within your first arrival in this area? What was it again, oh right I remember when the two of you are filling my chat box to come and pick the two of you,"
’Sigh. I can’t blame them it’s been a long time since I’ve heard that message, a knight that was seen as remarkable even for the guild hall to say such a thing. I don’t know why such a player isn’t even scouted to join a guild if talent wasn’t the problem then it must be his personality. As long as we can work together I can let it slide no matter how obnoxious he can be, but as soon as I see that his gonna hurt my team. Then I’ll have no choice but to kill him,’
"Excuse me... Are you perhaps the teammates I’ll be working with? Allow me to apologize for my rude behavior I was lost in the streets so please accept my apology. Now without further ado, I am your temporary ally my name is Zen Bleightrol, it’s a pleasure to meet the three of you," Startled by a voice that came from their backs they witnessed a yellow-haired player wielding a sword in his hand. Along with his body that showed a ton of training, filled with scars all over his body and engulfed in a blinding aura. This player gave them a big beaming smile upon their first meeting
[System: The player is suffering from a headache due to the personality alteration’s file name Radiant Knight. The player is feeling a certain occurrence within his head that was labeled as the feeling of cringe]
[Kehahahahaha, what the heck is that? I can’t believe this is your new identity! It’s pretty hilarious seeing you suffer from your decisions, don’t forget to be polite Mr. Knight]
"Hello, there im Jena this groups archer, nice to meet you Zen let’s work together until we clear the trials," She quickly shakes his hand after she found his face to be appealing to her type, while the two were shocked about her personality that changes within a glimpse of their newly recruited ally
"About time you made it here, the names Colt im the team’s support and this is our leader Sam she’s an assassin class. Seeing as you are apologetic it seems that you’re a rare breed compared to the other knights we allied with. So here’s the situation temporary recruit, our other ally is currently suffering from an injury that he took for us to escape. So don’t get all attached to us since you’re nothing but a temporary ally got it, I don’t care what you do as long as you don’t get in our way,"
"Sorry about that, Colt doesn’t mean it in a bad way. He’s just not the type of person that likes to act nice to anyone he won’t be with for a long time. I’m truly sorry, please don’t hesitate to say anything if he does something to annoy you. I can handle him without having it lead to a fight," Sam bowed at his front before the two of them reunited with the two on the other side
[Story quest: Upon the arrival to the ice kingdom you’ve found yourself in the lowest stage known for it to be inhabited by the monsters that abducted the Frostherus
Requirements: Find the entrance leading to the next floor, your destination has no limitations. But be warned the more you stray away from the exit, the monsters that will spawn will change accordingly
Failure: If the quest isn’t finished after 20 days had passed the monster’s spawn right will be doubled. This added stack will be permanent making the monsters more aggressive to the invading forces. Along with cutting the time needed to be 10 days once you’ve failed for the first time, you can only fail 2 times, why only 2? Since the third time will be your death]
