"I won’t," Shen Sinian assured her, "I’m just not that kind of person."

Xu Chuning couldn’t help but smile, "Of course, if you did well, you’re allowed to be a bit proud."

Shen Sinian hummed, "Then if I did well, do I get a reward?"

"?"

Hearing this, Xu Chuning belatedly realized that Shen Sinian was a "child," her child. Although they were the same age now, when he did well, he couldn’t help showing off to her, asking her for rewards.
