Reincarnated as a Son of the Sword Saint and the Sage -
Chapter 61 - 61: To the Imperial Capital
With their stomachs full, the three females went to the farthest room upstairs. Since it wasn't that long ago when they acquired a new body, the girls locked themselves in the room to adapt to their new selves. Michael just stayed in the living area, patiently waiting for them.
Even though the girls had their own private quarters, they decided to live together in the room furthest from the flight of wooden stairs. They made the bed there wide enough for four people to sleep and play rough comfortably.
The owner of the first room is Michael, followed by Lucy, then Uriel, and the room they are using was owned by Gabrielle. The purpose of Lucy's and Uriel's room was to store their own belongings.
"Your hair is so smooth and silky, Gabrielle." Uriel praised her, caressing her platinum locks. "I feel bad for having it break the line."
"How about leaving the hair drop as is it?" Lucy suggested.
"I see."
Inside Gabrielle's room, three girls are in front of a dresser. The reflection on the silver mirror shows the flipped image of sitting Gabrielle flanked by Uriel and Lucy at both wings. As of now, the trinity is mindfully grooming each other. It's Gabrielle's turn to bloom after Lucy and Uriel, respectively.
"Since she's the most beautiful and adorable here, we have to cover her as much as we can. But too many articles might reduce her mobility and obstruct her perception."
"You're right. We have to think it through deeply, but don't be too hasty." Uriel responded to Lucy's thoughts.
Gabrielle just stared at the reflection of the two girls as they were in the middle of a brainstorming session. But Gabrielle had her thoughts too.
"Um… can I just dress myself like that of a typical cleric?"
The two glanced at the mirror and blinked an eye upon hearing Gabrielle's request. Their poker face gradually curled up and broke a simple smile.
"Well, if that's what Gabrielle wants, why not?"
"I don't mind. It saves us time and energy."
"That's decided then!"
The trio then began constructing the adventurer outfit for the party's support. After an hour of arranging and grooming one another, their own preferred appearances and styles had been determined.
The girls descend downstairs and regroup with the leader of the party, Michael, in the living room.
"…Are girls really that into embellishing themselves?" Michael uttered, counting the time he spent sitting. "The only good thing was that we're not in a boutique."
"You didn't gain a female vessel, so you haven't any right to whine. And one thing: don't imply that you own us. This is my harem, not yours." Lucy snickered, then groped a mountain out of each girl as they were stepping down the stairs.
The girls are now clad in their battle attire, wearing their own preferred styles. They were all radiating metaphorically as they walked down the wooden stairs with elegance and a gentle smile on their faces.
Even though some still wear the same outfit since they were born yesterday, there is a significant difference in how they shine between yesterday and today. They locked themselves in the room and spent an hour beautifying themselves. Their efforts weren't in vain, as they achieved some beautiful results.
Gabrielle just applied foundation and wore light makeup. Her long, platinum-blonde hair dropped down to her hips, with a nun's headdress atop. All the white garments she is using cannot conceal her lascivious lumps and curves.
Uriel changed the style of her hair. Her long, wavy golden hair was pulled back in a bun, complementing her white skin and purple gaze.
There are notable changes in Uriel's outfit. In addition to her red shirt, she wore a black lace-up corset over a white bodice dress, which notably emphasized her bust.
Instead of red high-heeled boots, Uriel replaced them with shiny black leather shoes. She also put on a suspender belt to hold up her black sheer stockings. With her vivid red hooded capelet, Uriel was like the main character of a certain fairy tale.
Lucy, on the other hand, wore an outfit like that of a kunoichi. A black stretchy spandex dress was laid over her white skin, and a red silk scarf and sash were wrapped around her neck and waist, respectively. Pair of netted cuffs and black fingerless gloves were equipped on her upper limbs, and a red satin leg tie was entwined around her legs.
Her below-the-shoulder dark-brown straight locks are tied in a ponytail.
The three females are so captivating and breathtaking that Michael desperately holds back his urge to launch himself at them. But Michael only wore a subtle face, just as a calm person would have done. He is actually practicing himself to carefully hide his contempt for future references.
Michael let out a sigh and asked, "Now then. Have the necessary matters been prepared and are they ready?"
"Already have. Stats, biodata, background, weapons and equipment, and so on." His twin sister confirmed as the girls took out one of their items from their own private subspace.
The party's support, Gabrielle, took out a four-foot-long metal staff. The top of the staff had an oval white stone called light magic stone which strengthened light magic spells. The stone was skirted by eight metallic flanges to secure it from falling.
A one-meter-long ebony wooden staff was held in the hands of Uriel. Made out of Black Treant's wood, its durability and mana conductivity have been guaranteed. It had two layers of 5 mm-thick orichalcum rings eight inches from the end.
The staff had an even thickness and a very smooth surface; it almost looked like a cane. A ping-pong-sized fire magic stone is situated at the end of the staff above the golden rings for more powerful fire magic output.
Lucy pulled out a straight-bladed short sword called a "ninjato" from her compartment. She placed its scabbard diagonally on her back, with the hilt pointing toward her right shoulder. Not only a sword but also daggers, shuriken, a coil of steel wire, and talisman papers drew out from the pitch-black disk. She then inserted the items in their own holsters hanging on her hips.
"Good." Then Michael caught the fallen sword with a scabbard dropped from his Inventory.
Michael chose a sword—a Swiss saber—as his main weapon. The sword was single-bladed and had an intricate hilt. His sword was hand-forged by Raphael himself using the mithrill ingot he got from the dungeon with his sister.
"Let's make our way... to the Empire."
As he declared that, the group instantly disappeared inside the building as if taken away by the spring winds themselves.
◆◇◆◇◆◇
The Vagoth Forest a vast forest that stretches its ferocious soil from the southern part of the Dixon Empire down to the northwestern portion of the Primaria Theocracy. The forest extended and occupied the eastern border of the Vampire Nation of Prussilvania, making a natural barrier between the vampires and the righteous theocracy.
In terms of vastness and coverage, the Vagoth Forest is the third largest forest on the continent. Of course, the largest and most dangerous forest is the Great Forest of Darkness. Followed by the woodlands that covered more than half of the Elven Country Forester.
"…Okay, we are here."
With the split-second change, a group of people suddenly appeared in the middle of the forest out of nowhere. The group consists of four young adults. Three women and a man. All of them were clad in battle gear and wielding weapons.
"Where will we go?" Uriel inquired. "Should we voyage directly to the capital or start somewhere else?"
"I think we can start our tribute in the capital. The capital is populous, so they won't suspect us if we appeared out of nowhere." Michael answered Uriel's question and then elaborated.
With a whopping population of three million, the Imperial Capital Jeffer is hailed as the most populous city within the Northern Continent. Humans and other races coexist inside the city walls. The size and diversity of the Imperial Capital shielded them from background inspection.
"You have a point. Even so, we stand out too much. Especially, these two…" Lucy uttered then took a glance at the two members of their party, Uriel and Gabrielle.
Both of them had figures that would make men peel their lustful gaze off of them and envious beauty that made most of the women fall on their knees. Their appearance alone could attract lots of attention and danger.
"That means you have to protect us from dangerous situations, Lucy."
"Gabrielle's right. That's your job." Uriel nodded repeatedly in agreement.
"Your harem is your responsibility." Michael struck the last nail.
Being cornered on all sides, Lucy utterly surrendered, then steeled her resolve. "Fine, I'll do it. I sincerely promise I will protect my girls. Greater harem comes with greater responsibility." She declared before she gave her lovers a tight embrace.
Although they shared the same mentality, they are completely unrelated to each other and don't share the same blood. Their relationship was somewhat acceptable as long as no one discovered it.
Michael glanced at the girls for some time before he opened his mouth. "I'm sorry for interrupting your cuddling, but we have to go now."
"Aye, aye. Captain."
"Let's go."
