Chapter 67: Cassandra’s care (R-18)

Romina sat curled in an oversized couch near the hearth, legs tucked beneath her. Her eyes traced the words of a leather-bound tome she’d borrowed from Cassandra’s private collection—a romance novel, judging from the occasional blush that crept to her cheeks. Though she appeared absorbed in her book, her glances often darted to the bed.

Shennong lay there, wrapped in light sheets, bandages still hugging his legs beneath the covers. His chest rose and fell slowly, eyes half-lidded, lost somewhere between discomfort and recovery. Despite his efforts to rest, he was very much aware of the woman seated right next to him.

Cassandra.

Poised, silent, and radiant in the sunlight, the noblewoman sat on the edge of the bed, one hand resting in her lap, the other gently curled on the sheets near his hip. She didn’t speak. She just... stared. Her slightly brown eyes, usually filled with the steely grace of a novel lady, now shimmered with a softness that made Shennong shift beneath the sheets.

"...Don’t you have your noble duties to attend to, Cassandra?" he asked, breaking the silence.

Cassandra tilted her head slightly, her lips parting into a quiet smile. "Not at the moment, dear. Everything I need to tend to is right here."

A beat of silence passed between them.

Romina’s page-turning slowed slightly.

Shennong groaned softly and turned his head to face the ceiling. "You know, staring like that... It’s starting to feel like a hobby of yours."

"It is," Cassandra said without shame. "A pleasant one."

He exhaled, long and slow. "You’re going to make me self-conscious."

"You shouldn’t be, dear!" she teased, voice barely above a whisper. "You have a beautiful face."

"Is it really that interesting to look at me?" he grumbled. "I am not a painting."

"You’re more interesting to me than painting," she replied.

Cassandra’s gaze remained fixed, trailing over his jaw, the faint scar beneath his cheekbone, the tousled black strands of his hair. Shennong turned his head to meet her gaze, eyes narrowed in confusion—but she only smiled more.

He was truly surprised by the change in this woman’s attitude and personality. It was as if she had regained her confidence and capacity to love—and all of it was directed toward Shennong, who had extended a hand to her during her darkest times.

Shennong sighed again and closed his eyes, trying to ignore the her looks, but he was glad at least Cassandra was there to talk with him.

He was bored. He couldn’t move. And Cassandra’s quiet devotion had begun to feel like a fire that smoldered without flame—constant, warm, yet impossible to ignore.

Damn it. I can’t even sneak out for air without someone breathing down my neck. He knew Cassandra would immediately call Yenissa if he tried to sneak out. He didn’t know how, but somehow those two women had grown rather close because of Shennong, despite the difference in their races.

His mind drifted. As it often did when idle.

At first, the thoughts were innocent—flashes of events that happened to him in the Lunamarite biome, Yenissa scolding him for recklessness, Cassandra tending to his wounds with uncharacteristic tenderness. But then... the images began to shift.

What would they look like without those clothes? It was a wild thought, but suddenly, the image of Yenissa and Cassandra treating him changed from wholesome to rather wild.

This question sparked a dangerous trail.

In his imagination, Cassandra stood at the foot of the bed, dark hair loose, cascading like wine down her bare shoulders, her slightly brown eyes glowing in the moonlight. Her gown fell away, silk sliding like a sigh to the floor, revealing the womanly curves he had only glimpsed in fleeting moments.

Her spongy noble ass was swaying as if it was trying to whisper filthy secrets to Shennong, and he knew that if he kept watching, he’d end up obeying every damn word.

Beside her, Yenissa appeared—sharp-featured and wild, her confident smirk curling on her lips. She leaned down close, her brown hair brushing his chest, her hands teasing trails of fire down his sides.

"You’ve been stuck here far too long, Shennong," Cassandra whispered in the dream. "Let us ease your mind..."

Yenissa leaned in from the other side, licking her lips. "Or ruin it entirely."

In his mind, both women crawled onto the bed, lips and hands promising sin, their naked skin brushing against his. Their breath hot against his ears. Their thighs framing him.

Both of them used their mouths to suck on his chest, slowly moving up toward his neck and then to his lips. Watching this unfold, he couldn’t help but wonder what it would feel like to have these two erotic women at the same time. Would it satisfy him so completely that he’d ascend beyond his humanity? He had to wonder.

Shennong’s body reacted before he could stop it to this wild imagination.

Back in reality, his eyelids twitched, and a slow, pulsing pressure began to build under the sheets.

His heart thumped louder, but not from embarrassment. A sly heat pulsed through him, curling like smoke beneath his skin. He lay still beneath the blanket, eyes closed, but a smirk tugged at the corner of his lips. The unmistakable rise under the thin fabric wasn’t an accident.

He was bored. Tired of pretending. Tired of lying there while time crawled past like molasses. If he couldn’t move around, he could at least stir things up a bit.

He shifted just slightly, enough to make the tent more obvious, and let out a soft sigh—not of discomfort, but of anticipation.

When he peeked one eye open, Cassandra was already staring. Wide-eyed, lips parted. Romina caught on a second later, and her eyes went just as round. Neither of them looked away.

"Oops," Shennong said, feigning innocence with a stretch. "Guess this blanket isn’t great at keeping secrets."

Both of them blushed at the sight of the obvious bulge from the man who was supposed to be sick and bedridden.

"Shennong... are you... are you okay?" Cassandra asked, her words stumbling from the embarrassment—especially with another girl in the room eyeing her lover’s condition with such interest.

Romina quickly raised her book to cover her face, but Shennong didn’t miss how she subtly peeked from the corners, stealing a quick glance.

"Cassandra!" Shennong looked at her with a pained expression. "Do you mind healing this?"

She obviously knew what he was referring to, but she hesitated. "Ehhh?! Romina is here! Besides... Yenissa told me your body is fragile now..."

Shennong clicked his tongue, realizing this was going to be harder than he thought. He turned his head toward Romina and, to Cassandra’s shock, asked something unexpected.

"Romina, do you mind? Apparently, my lover doesn’t want to help me. I just want it to go back to normal," Shennong muttered, and both Romina and Cassandra’s eyes widened.

"Ehhhhhh?! Me!?" Romina shot up from the couch, startled. "Are... are you okay with me?"

Contrary to Shennong’s expectations, Romina didn’t refuse. Instead, with a deep blush on her cheeks, she slowly reached toward him—clearly curious.

Cassandra immediately noticed how things were getting out of hand and raised her voice.

"Romina... I’ll do it. As his lover, it’s my responsibility. Besides, you’re inexperienced—you might hurt him. Let me handle it."

Shennong smirked at those words. He knew Cassandra would never back down when someone else got involved—she was a woman who hated seeing another touch the man she loved, which, to him, was perfectly normal.

Romina looked slightly disappointed, as if she’d just missed an opportunity, but quietly returned to the couch. She collected her book and walked toward the door, aware that staying any longer might get her labeled a pervert. As she left, she gently closed the door—though Shennong could clearly see her secretly peeking through the crack.

Heh. So she’s interested... Well, she’s only a year or two older than me, so—

Shennong knew he’d have to do something about her eventually. After all, he was rather curious about both her skill—and her.

But he quickly stopped thinking about Romina and looked at Cassandra, who was slowly reaching toward Shennong’s silky blanket. She swiftly removed it, revealing his pants—which displayed a rather obvious tent.

"Darling! If you feel any sort of pain, just tell me right away... If something happens to you, Yenissa will kill me."

Even though Cassandra had somewhat eased up to the overwhelming presence of Yenissa, she still knew that, if she wanted, Yenissa could easily erase her entire existence.

"I will," Shennong confirmed, and Cassandra quickly got to the serious task.

Blushing, her fingers slowly gripped the edge of Shennong’s pants and gently tried to lower them. Due to his posture, it was rather difficult, but after a few minutes of effort, she finally managed to pull them down—revealing the ultimate monster that no opponent had yet defeated except Yenissa who was the ultimate oppnonet for Shennong’s penis.

Shennong’s penis stood tall, still partially hidden inside the shaft. Cassandra knew that soon, she would have to uncover its beautiful tip—and perhaps savor the taste of his superior semen.

"Hah! What a wonderful feeling! Cassandra... I appreciate your effort, my baroness," Shennong said—his words like honey to Cassandra’s ears. Just the way he said ’my’ with her title made her heart flutter.

"Leave it to me!"
