Chapter 145: Bath with Aunt and Niece
Shennong led them through the trees, the firelight fading behind them as the forest grew darker. The air was cool, scented with pine and earth. After a short walk, they reached a small clearing where a natural-looking hot spring bubbled gently, surrounded by wooden walls, steam rising from its surface. The water shimmered under the setting sun, surrounded by smooth rocks and soft moss.
"You made this?" Romina asked, her eyes wide with wonder.
"Yes! I had all the ingredients with me, I brought them just in case I had to bathe myself. I’m somewhat of a clean man myself." Shennong said with a wink. "This forest is full of surprises, so be careful when you bathe. Go on, it’s all yours. I’ll head back and keep an eye on the stew...for now."
Mandira dipped a finger into the water, testing its warmth. A delighted smile spread across her face. "Well, I’ll be. It’s perfect." She turned to Romina, her expression softening. "Come on, let’s get cleaned up. We’ll have a proper chat, just you and me."
As Shennong trudged back to the campsite, he could hear the faint sound of splashing of water behind him. He shook his head, a fond smile tugging at his lips. "Those two," he muttered. "I guess they got lot to talk about as Aunt and Niece."
The water bubbled gently, its warmth inviting, surrounded by smooth stones and patches of soft moss that glowed faintly in the dusk. Mandira and Romina stood at the edge, the air cool against their skin, scented with pine and damp earth.
Mandira stretched her arms above her head, her movements confident and unhurried. "Well, no sense standing around gawking," she said, her voice warm with amusement.
She began to undo the ties of her travel-worn mage robe, letting it slip from her shoulders to pool at her feet. Her body was a vision of mature allure—full curves from her ass to figure, strong limbs, and a graceful confidence that spoke of years lived boldly.
Her skin, kissed by the sun, glowed with a healthy sheen, her breasts full and rounded with light nipples shining like they were diamonds, her hips swaying slightly as she stepped out of her lacy underwear. She stood unashamed, her form radiating a natural, effortless sensuality, every curve accentuated by the soft light filtering through the trees.
Romina, on the other hand, hesitated. Her fingers fumbled with the laces of her blouse, her cheeks flushed as she glanced at her aunt. "Aunt Mandira, you’re so... bold," she murmured, her voice tinged with shy admiration.
She slowly peeled off her blouse, revealing a body that was slightly less mature but no less captivating. Romina’s frame was lithe, her curves softer, more delicate, with a youthful firmness that hinted at her burgeoning womanhood. Her skin was pale, almost luminous in the twilight, her small, pert breasts and slender waist giving her an air of understated elegance.
She crossed her arms over her chest, trying to cover herself as she slipped out of her skirt, her movements quick and self-conscious.
Mandira chuckled, stepping toward the water. "Oh, come now, Romina. It’s just us here. No need to hide what the gods gave you." She waded into the hot spring, the water lapping at her thighs, then her hips, until she submerged herself up to her shoulders. She let out a long, contented sigh, her head tilting back as the warmth enveloped her. "This... this is heaven."
Romina, still clutching her arms to her chest, dipped a toe into the water, then slowly followed. She sank into the spring, the water covering her up to her neck as she settled beside Mandira. Her arms loosened slightly, but she kept them close, her eyes darting to her aunt’s relaxed form. The steam curled around them, creating a cocoon of warmth and intimacy.
For a moment, they sat in companionable silence, the only sounds the gentle bubbling of the spring and the distant chirping of crickets. Mandira leaned back against a smooth rock, her eyes half-closed. "It’s been too long since we’ve had a moment like this, just you and me," she said softly. "Remember when you were little, running around my garden, stealing my herbs to make ’potions’?"
Romina smiled, her expression softening. "I thought I was going to be a great alchemist like you. I’d mix dirt and leaves and pretend it was magic."
"You had quite the imagination," Mandira said, her voice fond. "Still do, I wager." She paused, her gaze turning serious. "Romina... do you hate me?"
Romina’s eyes widened, and she looked down at the water, her fingers trailing through the surface. "Hate you? Aunt Mandira, no, I... I don’t hate you. What happened to me... it had nothing to do with you." She bit her lip, her voice dropping to a whisper. "I just... I’ve always wanted to be more like you. You’re a prodigy, Aunt. You impress everyone. You’re strong, confident, and... everyone listens when you speak. I want that."
Mandira’s lips curved into a bittersweet smile. "So that’s how you see me, huh? A prodigy?" She shook her head, her purple hair clinging to her shoulders in wet strands. "I’m anything but that, Romina. Look at me now—I don’t even know what to say to my own niece when she’s in trouble. How’s that for a prodigy? I’m just a woman fumbling her way through, same as anyone."
Romina didn’t answer, her gaze fixed on the water, her expression unreadable. Mandira reached out, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder. "You don’t have to be like me, or anyone else. You can stay with Shennong, do whatever your heart desires. I won’t interfere with what comes next. I’m a woman too, Romina. I know the pain you’re carrying—I’ve been through it myself."
Romina’s eyes flicked up, a mix of curiosity and hesitation in them. "Are you... are you suggesting I rebel against my father?"
Mandira leaned back, her expression thoughtful. "If that’s what you want, then maybe. But hear me out, Romina. No matter what happens, I won’t let Sturgeon fall. When the time comes, I’ll be on Sturgeon’s side. We’ll see where we stand then—friends or enemies. But before you go making any big moves, you’ve got to perfect that power of yours. It’s raw, wild, but it’s yours. Own it."
Romina nodded slowly, her fingers tightening around a smooth stone beneath the water. "I... I want to. I want to be strong, like you."
Mandira opened her mouth to respond, but a sudden creak interrupted her. The sliding wooden door at the edge of the clearing groaned open, and both women froze, their heads snapping toward the sound. The steam was thick, obscuring the figure stepping through, but Mandira’s hand shot up, energy crackling faintly at her fingertips, ready to blast whoever dared intrude.
"Who’s there?" she barked, her voice sharp.
The steam parted, and Shennong strolled in, as casual as if he were stepping into his own kitchen. He was already stripping off his arm cut top, revealing a lean, muscular frame, his skin just as shining as Mandira or Romina. His chest was broad and he had a strong abdomen and his movements were unhurried, almost teasingly confident.
He tossed his clothes aside with a flourish, standing unashamedly bare before stepping into the hot spring. His cock was erect to the fullest potential, as if he was trying to show off.
"Phew!" he exclaimed, sinking into the water with a groan of satisfaction. "I’ve been waiting forever for this. Nothing like a good soak after a long day, eh?"
Mandira’s jaw dropped, her hand still raised, though the energy at her fingertips fizzled out. "Shennong! What in the blazes are you doing?!" she sputtered, her cheeks flushing—not from the heat of the spring.
Romina squeaked, sinking lower into the water until only her eyes and nose were visible, her arms wrapped tightly around herself. "Shennong!" she gasped, her voice muffled by the water.
He leaned back, completely at ease, his arms resting along the edge of the spring. "What? It’s my hot spring, isn’t it? Built it with my own two hands. Figured I’d earned a dip." He grinned, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Besides, you two looked like you were having too much fun without me."
Mandira glared at him, though the corner of her mouth twitched upward. "You’re impossible, you know that? Barging in like you own the place."
"I do own the place," he shot back, splashing water in her direction. "Well, the spring, at least. Forest’s a bit harder to claim."
Romina peeked up from the water, her cheeks still pink. "You... you could’ve warned us," she mumbled, her voice barely audible.
Shennong chuckled, his laugh low and warm. "And miss the look on your faces? Not a chance." He tilted his head, his expression softening. "Relax, Romina. We’re all friends here. No need to hide."
Mandira rolled her eyes, but she settled back against the rock, her initial shock giving way to amusement. "You’re lucky I didn’t blast you into next week," she said, flicking water at him.
"Ha! You’d miss me too much," Shennong replied, winking. He sank lower into the water, letting out another contented sigh. "Now, what were you two talking about before I so rudely interrupted?"
Mandira glanced at Romina, her expression softening. "Just... family stuff. Right, Romina?"
Romina nodded, her arms loosening slightly as she relaxed into the warmth of the spring, but she was trying her best to hide her assets as she was too embarssed to be sen by the man that made her heart flutter. "Yeah. Family stuff."
Shennong raised an eyebrow, but he didn’t press. Instead, he leaned back, closing his eyes. "I have to say...bathing with two beautiful women like you is the best after a long travel. Mandira, why don’t you come here?"
To the surprise of Mandira, Shennong made a rather bold claim that shocked both Mandira and Romina.
