This was what Qin Xue admired most about him, believing that the elder would definitely bring them unexpected results.

But now Qin Xue couldn’t wait for his slow actions and decided they would investigate themselves.

“Yeah, I know, that old fox is very cunning. Fortunately, he’s still a good person, or else it would be really awful. Do you believe it?” Nangong Beiying asked Cloud and Qin Xue, confident in her judgment.

“Of course, some people aren’t as they appear, so we need to see people clearly. We must protect ourselves from being taken advantage of and avoid crossing lines ourselves. After all, this is still a society governed by laws.” Qin Xue knew this well, which is why she hadn’t said anything.
