“An Hao, your baby is only a month old. Shouldn’t you rest for a bit longer? What’s the hurry to go out?” Qin Xue was surprised to see An Hao too.

“My mother is looking after her. Zhaozi went to work, and I wanted some fresh air, so my mother offered to babysit. “Zhaozi got some baby formula. If she gets hungry, we can feed her that,” An Hao reasoned. She wouldn’t leave her child without making sure there would be food for her.

“Did you already try feeding your child the formula? Will it agree with her?” Qin Xue knew that some babies didn’t take to formulas well. A hungry baby that refuses to eat would be heartbreaking to watch.

“Yes, we sometimes feed her the formula, don’t worry.” An Hao felt warm seeing Qin Xue so concerned about her and her baby.

“That’s good to know. Let’s go. Anyone else want to go shopping?” Qin Xue asked everyone present.

“I’ll go.” Chu Xiaoqiao raised her hand. She had already arranged everything at the shop before coming. She was free for the day.

“Fang Xiu, what about you? Are you coming?” Qin Xue asked Fang Xiu.

“I’ll stay home and watch the kids.” Fang Xiu shook her head. She was nearly due, and her feet were swollen and uncomfortable. Walking was exhausting. She preferred to stay home, or else they would keep worrying about her. She would rather stay at home peacefully, babysitting the kids, and let the young folks have fun.
