“Hmm, see if Xiao Qi is home. If he is, invite him over for dinner tonight,” Qin Xue mused. It had been a while since she’d seen Yingying; she wondered if she would come. She decided to call Yingying later.

“Alright,” Chu Molin agreed, planning to see if Xiao Qi was home later.

“Are you still eating? If not, we should get going,” Chu Molin said while eating and feeding the kids. He ate quickly, so consequently, he had to be wary of his kids’ hands grabbing at the food, or else they’d make a mess.

“I’m almost finished.” Ye Xuan quickly finished his bowl of fish and then followed Chu Molin out the door.

Qin Xue watched them go. She had wanted to say something but ultimately decided against it since they had already gone.

“Master, I think you could get to know Ye Xuan better. I believe he knows the person you have been looking for,” Xue Ling confidently suggested to Qin Xue.

“Who am I looking for?” Qin Xue glanced at Xue Ling and saw that she was silently continuing to eat. She then understood that Xue Ling was communicating directly with her mind, and quickly began to question her.

“Don’t grab, I will feed you,” said Qin Xue, her bowl had soup. If the child grabbed at it, it would be oily, therefore it was important he didn’t.

“Eat,” Yu Ze scolded his brother. He was annoyed, “this is for eating. It’s dirty to grab it with your hands.”

“Ahh,” Yu Chen protested, staring down his brother. He wanted to eat!

“You have to wait to eat. How can you possibly eat when you’re that impatient? What if you choke?” Yu Ze reasoned with his brother.

“But mum isn’t feeding me. If I don’t grab, she won’t remember that I am still hungry,” Yu Chen complained feeling innocent. He just wanted to satisfy his hunger.

“Serves you right. You insisted on dad holding you. Now, suffering, are you?” Yu Ze smirked at his brother.

“I didn’t know dad would eat that fast. He used to feed us properly, didn’t he?” Yu Chen was about to cry. He had no idea his usually gentle father would do something so out of character.
