“I was working on a problem that I couldn’t solve, that’s why it took me till now. Thank you guys for getting me food, I wouldn’t have gotten anything to eat otherwise.” Qin Jiale looked at the good-looking food and thanked them.

“We are all friends and classmates, there’s no need for thanks. We didn’t know what dishes you like, so we just got the usual things we eat.” Ye Zishu replied while eating.

At home, Ye Zishu wouldn’t dare behave like this, or she would be scolded by her family’s elders. In her family, they have strict dining etiquette rules, which might be the reason why she came out so different.

“Then I won’t be so polite anymore. In the future, whoever comes late among us, others will help to get food, how does that sound?” Qin Jiale proposed, seeing that they weren’t just being polite, but sincere.
